I've got to give the American Muscle cars some love too! I've already made a video for JDM, so I figured it was time to give the American car scene some attention also! I will do one for European a while from now. I want to make some other fun videos until than! Bladed Angel by the way the srt 6 crossfire only came in auto sadly. Plus the cars platform came out of the mercedes slk R170 generation (1st gen). Overall great video tho excellent choice of cars tho

lol dude the Trans Am and Camaro are both F bodies ie. The same car. The 93-97 model Camaros were the ones to go with if you wanted a cheaper LT1, and the 98-02 Trans Ams were what you go with if you had more money and wanted the almighty LS1.

In the late 90s the Z28 was the center of the high school hot rod universe. I saw a guy lose control of one and put it through a storefront. Most of them were driven poorly by kids with wealthy parents.

Heads up on the “aluminum” 4.6 in the cobra/Mach: the driver side head has a flaw in the coolant plumbing that leaves stagnant coolant over the number4 cylinder causing either the valves or rod/piston to go bye bye. Or both like in my case. It’s not the easiest to work on because it’s a very precise engine(clearances and specific parts of its design). The fix for the coolant issue is a bypass connecting the head to a freeze plug on the engine which you must have in order to preserve this thing. I found out when it went boom then pop started itself and even though I shit it off before 3 revs could roll over it bent all 4 valves broke the rod spun the rod bearing and welded said bearing to the crank. I was coasting at 55 mph when this happened. That said I still own and love this car. It’s a blast to drive and always gets attention with no chrome. Fresh motor and many lessons learned and I have a unique mustang that I’m really glad I own.

Better to go with a 98-02 camaro or trans am. 305 horse ls1, severely underrated, most of em actually make near that at the wheels an you get em with h/c/I for 7500 in Oklahoma

Julian Arebalo ya I got an 02 trans am ws6. Got it for 8k so idk why the video mentions the older ones. With a full exhaust system you could push 350hp since 01 and 02 trans ams produced more power with the LS6 instaks

Julian Arebalo I bought a 93 Lt1 with a 6speed in 2015 for 2300 with 111k miles. Sold it July 17 2017 for 2500 with 130k miles it was a formula so cloth seats manual locks and windows but was a pretty fast car. Now Im looking for a 12 valve Cummins hehe. I believe the ls1 which, may be one of the best motors ever made, had 325bhp and 350ft lbs or torque. Unfortunately I yet to own one.

The Crossfire SRT6 is a pretty good car. Very well built, pretty quick Chrysler. Never thought I'd ever say those two in a sentence. Then again, under that MURICAN skin is a Mercedes SLK, which explains it.

It's technically from one generation older of SLK so actually fairly reliable. You're right though. The SLKs that followed had issues.

There were some electrical issues but these actually broke down less than similarly aged Chrysler V6es. There's also good forum support.

As well as the '06 Charger R/T, there is the 2005-2008 Magnum R/T, which is the Charger, but as a wagon, so that's what you want if you are looking for a more practical version.

I just bought a 2003 Ford Mustang (lowest model) for $2400, they're worth about $2950+ with the amount of miles mine has and the condition so i'm very happy with my purchase. (I'm 16 nearly 17 I can't afford a nice car but next year i'm buying my dads 2010 challenger SRT i just needed a car to drive for a year)

Yes the C4 will become a classic. The first year was really a sign that performance was back. If the 53 and 54 were powered by a straight 6 and a two-speed Powerglide and it is a classic.

I think the best decision I ever made was to buy a used 2007 Crown Vic LX, I had it for 6 grand! Really good condition, and the V8 isn't exactly powerful, but it's no slouch...

If you can afford the gas, get a Ford Crown Victoria. They're arguably the most reliable car in the world and you can pick one up for $1,000 or less. Don't forget I told you that even the door locks are heavy duty. ;) Forget a Ford Fuckus or Toyota Prickus.

I got a 02 Mustang GT, the convertible manual one and its a blast, a nice Flowmaster cat back and it sounds really nice while still being a good cruiser, great fun car and has been really reliable.

I bought a ’06 Charger R/T, and I'm pretty sure a teenager drove it; but regardless, after a few nights in the garage and a few Benjamins I got the car working fine, so that's pretty much what you have to deal with when you buy a car under 10K. Although, the experience was kinda horrible, I did learn how to fix and maintain a car properly. Also, I liked the video, and love the background music!

The Dodge Neon Srt-4's are a pretty good bang for the buck, sucks they weren't on the list. They average around 6K but you can find them anywhere from 4-10K depending on condition. AND, most of the ones you find are going to be modified already to some extent (even fairly heavily modified srt4's go for under 10K.) Stock they made between 230-260 HP, but it's very easy to make more power out of them.

Wowski123 89-95 taurus SHO (or the next generation, they're kinda ugly though), contour svt, wrx.. If you're looking into the mazda get the mazdaSPEED6. Maybe you can get lucky and find a GMC Typhoon for that much. That would definitely be the fastest thing you could get, though it might be a bit much.

Chevy caprice police can be found for around 8.5-9k minimum, and it has 355 hp. It looks like a regular sedan, so it's kinda like a sleeper. It's 0-60 is like 5.1-5.4 somewhere in there

Have a Mach 1 myself, and though its been more troublesome than my GT its still a great car and great bang for your buck power. Comfortable, good looking, plenty of aftermarket support, and sounds amazing. I paid a bit higher than $10k but only because it had 60k miles on it and also had a full exhaust and other goodies.

I went with the 4th gen Camaro! Greatest performance you can get for cheap! Applying simple bolt ons such as intake, headers and exhaust on the LS1 and you'll be right at 400 hp easy

Love those Charger. Never got them in Australia unfortunately. Got the 300C. I love that shape Mustang, pure 90s awesome. Ford Australia brought them over and engineered them for RHS drive and even stiffened the chassis over stock.

84-89 C4 Corvette you get a great car for the price right now. In northern States find C4 with low miles

I own a 2004 Mach 1 mustang convertible, beautiful car was only $8500 including licensing and taxes with only 62,000 miles on it, great car overall

I have a Mach 1 mustang in Oxford White(rarest color for the Mach 1) very fun car my first car i bought once I graduated high school sold my truck and saved money then bought the Mach

C4's will hit a point in which they can only go up in value. In a couple of years they will be around the $3k mark and honestly you can only go up from there. I think they will actually will be a future classic because it has all of the aspects to be one. Idk that's just my opinion

The New Edge Mustang is my most favourite generation. Super nostalgic to me as well. If a racing game around the early 2000s had an SVT Cobra R Mustang, no questions asked, I was taking that car for as long as I could. 😎👍👍 More recently, I really like how GTA Online, we finally got a New Edge Mustang. The Dominator ASP.

Not sure about the 2006 versions but my 2010 R/T has been reliable, but I do all the scheduled maintenance on time. Fuel pump barely died at 131k.

There is a car dealership that's nearby that always has a Mach 1 or 03-04 Cobra in their inventory every month. I don't know about anywhere else but the Mach 1s I see sell for $14,000 and up.
