You are one of those guys whose advice is crucial for the students' society. Three of my close friends & I have been following you for guidance for the past 4ish months. My cognitive & Linux skills have improved, actively learning 1 "new" thing daily & making consistent git logs. My friends are doing the same things, holding each other accountable and enjoying our time learning. All of us are from tier-1 colleges yet we feel the imposter syndrome for not being able to get into a remote job until your new video comes out.
It's actually the best decision, I wish I would have done that. You get a nice college and even a Garbage collector man can learn coding, only thing needed is to invest time into it and not put yourself down. I'm in a tier 3 college and I'm working on Solana, know language like Go, JS and Java. I just wish I could enjoy tier 1 clg culture. Coding is something you can have anytime, clg is not. Have fun and start coding from Scrimba/ Alchemy etc and stop bounding yourself with these useless thoughts.
@@YASH-cz6ir you can start from learning python from Coursera or Udemy equivalent platforms. That would really help you as Phyton is a very easy going language as compared to other languages.

Harkirat , I am a software developer and very often I see people who are complete miss fits getting into the field because of hype, can you make a video highlighting the traits that you should not be a software developer.
7:56 Don't be a minimum guy, reminds me of Family man 2 IT manager :) But this is the most important rule to follow. Very true. As an experienced developer, many people just do the same and cry at the end of every year for not getting hikes/promotions.

I can really vouch for the twitter part cause I interacted with martin klepmann even though I'm a nobody lol. Its awesome that you're creating a community of remote folks. hey Harkirat everyone is talking about people who are passing out from the college or in the college, what you will suggest for the people who are trying to switch in remote software development after working in different field or failing in upsc or people who are unemployed, make a video on that if possible.
Harkirat, no doubt that English language is a must for remote software development but i sought of wonder why don't you make videos in Hindi which has a much much more audience ... i love to hear you in English and i am not suggesting you to make videos in hindi but this is just a question out of curiosity that why don't you make videos in hindi when doing so can give a huge jump in your views...?

40,000 dollar per month at the age 20 , now with this pace with just 25% hike each year I'm sure he will get 4 million dollar per month by the age of 40, which is 50 million dollars per month. In Indian Rupees this value comes around 50 million dollars x 100 = 5 Arab Rupye
