Just want to give a compliment to this young man for taking the initiative to build something. Im sorry that his neighbors have nothing better to do than to call the cops on a good kid. He could be spending his time selling drugs or stealing cars, but no ..they want to discourage a young man for being productive with his time. Furthermore, the cops should be ashamed for not looking the other way. The kid isn't hurting anyone. As long as he's not riding it when people are trying to sleep, let him ride his creation for Pete's sake.
You need to come love in my neighborhood we are a subdivision pit in the county on the Gulf coast of Alabama and everyone rides four-wheelers legit shifter racing go karts and oval racing karts and dirt bikes all the time around the subdivision and the cops only ask is if we can somewhat try to stay around the speed limit and stop at the two most busiest stop signs cuse he understands that when we are racing the go karts you don't wanna have to stop at every stop sign beside the two main ones and the cops will even come watch us race cuse it's like a half mile road course with our shifter carts so fun
I'll bet your neighbors are glad the police are doing their job keeping you from making a lot of noise I had the same problem with a neighbor that wanted to mow at night.
I hope i can revive it sometime. Got rid of it a while back when the cops banned me from riding ( i still ride tho ofc) but im missing it and i think driftkart gen 2 might be a future vid

Watch videos on gokart steering geometry. I would say it needs to be tuned up man, there is a kart guy that has a very indepth video on it and other stuff as well like suspension 😉 i believe you want the inside tire to turn more that the outside tire as it turns a tighter circle than the outside tire
