Thank you so much for this!!! I love it! It's the most amazing Kalalau video I've seen, and it's literally a public service! For those with some physical, monetary, or other issue stopping them from doing the trail, you give them the ability to still feel it virtually. And for those who want to do it for the first time, this is totally awesome so they know what they are signing up for beforehand. The trail really feels more narrow and overgrown than I would have expected, and it seems like there are plenty of places where someone could loose the trail. I've only gone to Hanakapiai Falls, and I've always wanted to hike the whole trail. Thank you again!
Thx! just hiked the trail on 30th of September in and 1st of October out with my girlfriend! condition looks pretty much like I remember, just missed a sketchy part with a landslide before Crawler's Edge. Nice to get a recap of my trail adventure by watching this video. Appreciate it!
-Thank You ! WONDERFUL UpGrade Remastered like the Music ! Could you do a Current Video? After all this Rain in 2024 the Washouts could be very Dangerous that will get You 1K subscribers Toby !
Wondering what time you started and what time you arrived to Kalalau beach? Were you there in October? Looks like it was a perfect day! We have permits to be hiking there Feb. 29th if the weather permits.
Thank you for watching the video. Just to provide some context, it was recorded over a span of three days in August 2022. If you're planning a trip to Kalalau, I'd suggest beginning your journey approximately 30 minutes before sunrise to avoid some of the intense heat and humidity, which can still be challenging even in February. The trek to Kalalau usually takes me between 7 to 8 hours, depending on the condition of the trail. Wishing you a memorable and enjoyable experience on your trip.
@@TobyVisuals808 yes have permits for Feb. 28 4 nights. We plan to be on the trail before sunrise but judging from past trips to this area our biggest issue is less likely to be heat and more likely to be rain, so praying for not much rain! We are training for it.
