I was shocked to see Austin walk straight into KG and it not escalate more than it did - but I guess it was right at the end of KG's career and he was much more mature by then. There's certain players that in their prime, you really didn't want to do anything to fire up because it makes them really concentrate and they would often beat you on their own; Bird, Barkley, MJ, GP, Shaq, KG, Iverson, Kobe (Rest in peace), D-Wade, LeBron, Dame Dollar, Westbrook, Ja Morant, etc. Its cool when the young guns work that much harder when playing against legends that are right at the end of their careers - I take that as the biggest form of respect - but when it goes into disrespect, I think that's messed up. Wonder if Austin Rivers has walked straight into Giannis or LeBron while their at the top of their game. Oh my days. Apologies for writing an essay! Hope you're doing good :)

I watched every game he played as a Boston Celtic. I loved him. He was a great leader...his competitiveness, his work ethic, his attitude. He was the perfect Celtic. I remember him getting fouled HARD once and going down. He was down for a few seconds, then, while still on the floor he flips over, does about 5 pushups on his knuckles...the place went crazy. I'll say this and I stand by it. KG is in my top 15. Not neccessarily for his ball skills (which he had plenty of) but for his verbal talent. He will take your out the game mentally in under two posssessions. Didn't matter what team he played for, I always rooted for him. Always. He is truly missed.
