Hi Tamar, how do you kosher yr sink between meat and dairy uses? Do you also need separate pots/ pans for parve items? Do you need to kosher your sink for parve items as well?
Great questions! 😎 Basically, we just don't leave dishes in the sink. This is to avoid a situation where meat and dairy dishes are soaking together which can be problematic. We do also have pareve pots and pans for pareve items 😊 No need to kasher our sink, we are just careful not to leave dishes in the sink. Our dishes go from counter straight to dish rack after being washed 😃 I saw some people with one sink purchase two little plastic containers, so they can leave dishes in their sink in these containers, but our system works for us. 😊
What would happen if you or your children accidentally used the wrong dish/utensils-like meat dishes for cereal and milk? I can image children would have mix ups while they are learning. Just curious how you do the dishes in the same sink? Do you drain the water and then sanitize the sink then do the other type of dishes? Hope you are having a great day! The weather here has been so chilly and cold!! At least to me! But the trees and flowers are blooming and I love it!! Will just be glad when warm weather gets here and stays!! 😂
Great questions Karen 😊 If we mix up there is a way to make it kosher, but it can get complicated so we really try to be careful 😜 We try not to leave any dishes in the sink, since if the meat and dairy dishes were to soak together that can be problematic. We leave dishes on the counter and hopefully do them quickly 😊 I hear you my friend! The weather here is heating up and I'm loving it!!! I find good weather improves my mood as well 💕💕
I’d be a lost cause when it comes to getting the dishes done the Jewish way!!😂😂😂 Life doesn’t always allow me to get them done quickly! However, I do try to wash my meat dishes last. They are always the dirtiest and I try to sanitize the sink if I wash a dish that had raw meat on it- before I wash anything else. ❤ And yes for a better mood with warm weather!!!! 😊😊
