I'm sorry, but no, I thought I was asexual at the age of 14, and that was almost two decades ago. "Asexual" has been a fairly well-known concept for quite awhile. "Butch" and "femme" have been more popularly used longer than that for sure, though. "Top/bottom" was only used by gay men until very recently, and I still don't understand why young women are using that, unless they have an exclusive strap type of situation.

Butch/Soft butch was a thing in the past but Masc is the new/softer thing now so I understand why that could get past their radar.
