Finally! Someone who actually plays the game in a cinematic manner. This honestly put a smile on my face. TASM2 was such a beautiful film that was unfortunately mishandled by the studio. Watching this gave me that feeling that Peter was finally able to grieve the death of Gwen properly and come back stronger and wiser as our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man 🕷️
The film score deff adds to the magic of this video 🕸️🕷️ I just wished they used the main theme for Tobey’s web swinging here from SM2. The SM3 landing and theme was pretty funny though. It’s so good 😂
Unrelated but When I was like 5 TASM 2 was my favorite Spider-Man movie. That intro was amazing (no pun not intended) but how in the world did he get that high up into the air!? Where'd you fall from to get enough momentum to ALMOST go to space Peter!?
@@Smackreckerhell nah, zero assist, corner tethers,water surfing, loop de loops, slingshots, and super slingshots are all things you couldn't do in the first game lmao. As well as a massive speed increase with the spider jump and dash mechanics from miles Morales
5:55 this part is my favorite of the entire video. the music buildup, how spiderman made that loop and when the music finnaly dropped with the view of the massive building, everything is just perfect. (sorry if bad grammar)
Definitely fits the thrill feeling of Andrew garfields version of spider-man swinging, like every swing he does makes you on the edge of your seat, there's something that feels so free when you watch this version of spider-man and his swinging followed by the soundtrack which makes it even more epic, wished the devs actually made the game where if you equipped any suit the swinging style would also be different corresponding to the spiderman that you're playing as, it's not just the suit but once you equip the suit you're playing a whole different spiderman
Idc what people say but I think web assist on 4/10 sensitivity is the best. You pretty much have full control over Spider-Man and the way he turns or moves. As well as gravity is very similar to 0 or 1, but you don’t get caught on every little thing and you have a lot more speed. If you haven’t tried it, just trust me and try it that way. Not because 0 or 1 is hard, this way just feels more free.
0 with fall damage is my favorite. The higher stakes are so much fun for me. It was definitely annoying to get used to but I so enjoy it now. I also dig playing on 4 though. It can be so cinematic
I keep it on 2. 1 was perfect except I would always smash into buildings using the loop de loop. 2 fixes that and still feels amazing. I'm curious, what makes 4 better than 2 or 3?
Honestly this video is hypnotizing. I'm not much of a spider man fan, I played these three games and liked them but I'm not fanboying over them. This video however, what's the right word... it's hypnotizing. I put it on, started watching and kind of just zoned out, I never even noticed when it ended. So good. Bravo dude.

You can tell it’s 0 assists by how he’s pulled towards what the web attaches to it only does that on 0 assists. Higher assists less pull whoever posted this simply understands physics my edits look exactly the same and I even have proof mine on 0 swing assist. Stop hating start appreciating or better yet post a video of y’all doing better I’m sure everyone would love to see that

I swear I’m really happy that we have the tasm 2 suit and I seriously don’t wanna be that guy but there’s something wrong with it ,idk if it’s the eyes or the neck or just the face but I feel like Andrew was more skinny in the movies and I would’ve loved if it looked exactly the same to the one in the movie, from the back it looks incredible but from the front ,i feel like Andrew’s head in the movie looked more alien like (in a good way) and it was a bit bigger from the back and his chin was also more pronounced ,I still love it tho and they do an amazing job but I think the Tobey suit is the most accurate
I put my settings to 0 and its great. My only complaint is the web swinging is slow and lack of dual triggers for swinging(L2 swing with left hand, R2 Swing with right hand)
Ummm but there's some pre-web hovering forward. Doesn't 0 assist negate that? I mean, shouldn't it look more like 2004's Spider-Man 2 where you can actually fail the swings?
Yeah sadly this isn't actually 0 assist. Although that said, even at 0 there can still be a TINY bit of pre web hover. But I think it's mostly because the timing of swinging would feel a little off if there wasn't.
Aaah thank you mate, I felt like a little boy again for the reason that you reminded me that Tobey Maquire was the first Spidey I saw on the big screen. Marvel produced a lot of crap since being part of evil Disney. But I think they paid outstanding tribute with the last Spiderman movie that came out.
for me the sweetspot was swingassist turned to 1. because 0 just seemed a little too dissatisfying with how often you just hit the ground in many story missions. Some areas are literally not meant to be traversed with 0 like parts of the bridges where you can only swing on the street lights
