It was beyond stupid as the set was already decided very handily. He moves in to the net to try to over-dominate. He has favorable court conditions as it was very wet and less bouncing. He also had home crowd advantage. Give Tsitsipas a Greek crowd under his most favorable conditions, and let's see how Alcaraz reacts.
Also, Carlitos never stopped looking at him. Tsitsipas tried to hit him and immediately looked and walked the other way, like a proper coward, avoiding looking at Carlitos.
He has the mind of a literal child. imagine thinking hitting balls at somebody who isnt doing anything against the rules (and isnt even acting that bad) will "make him stop" lmfao
nobody is supporting kyrgios here kiddo. Both are idiot children but at least kyrgios can act like a decent human being here and there. Tsitsipas is a literal child all the time. @@TheRafaelBond
@@michaelt3308 tsitsipas is 25. thats not a kid anymore. I was far more mature by his age. hes in a professional sport environment surrounded by famous people. he needs to do far better and stop whining.
The fact that he has hit balls intentionally into the crowd multiple times in a Grand Slam match and not gotten defaulted while Djokovic unintentionally hit a linesmen during a Grand Slam with no crowd and has gotten defaulted is insane.
The world of tennis has always hated Djokovic for being proud and standing for the players rights instead of the organizers. Despite all their efforts he still became the greatest of all time and that makes it even more impressive.
@@robinsoncruise2228 it was allowed because of the extreme conditions. normally it wouldn't have been allowed , but it was 37 degrees celsius, so players needed more time and often changes of clothes.
Tsitsipas is planning the next chapter... he started with trash talking episodes, then disrespecting ball kids series , then the toilet saga, then the texting saga, then he reached the "hitting balls at people" platinum rank. I say he's got a damn good portfolio
And now he's starting to play bad, becoming less relevant in the process. It was "supposed" to be him if not for all the Djokovics and Nadals, but now he can't even beat players younger than him, and Medvedev shits on him as well. I don't think his bad form will continue that much longer, but something tells me he'll get a similar treatment from Alcaraz as Berdych did from Nadal 😁
I never used to understand why so many disliked Tsitsipas. I understand it now though, he's just a sore loser. He doesn't think anyone can beat him unless they're cheating or getting lucky or something.
It's not only that.Besides being extremely arrogant and lacking empathy ,the guy is a complete idiot. Here in Greece ,he is also famous for some quotes and statements.Like when he suggested that the greek goverment should plant fruit trees in the center of Athens so the homeless people can pick and eat them
My parents live in the same building as the Tsitsipas family and we see eachother very often. They don't even know how to say hello after the countless times that I've greeted them. On or off the court he's the same idiot
@@Bropatlibeledsiskelleyleigha but its just a normal thing to do, say hi to your neighbour, i live in Serbia and its just basic manners when you see your neighbour in the building you say Good day he says good day and you just move on, you dont have to like them, you dont have to even know them, its just basic manners, still there are a**holes that just look at you like "wtf you want"...
I feel like there are alot of moments i saw that you didn't include 😂 like this video could have been 20 min long 😂 stef is just not a nice person and it will take 3 years of him being nice to actually convince me he has changed.
For example this year I thought he pulled his act together and this would be a new Stef but then against Medvedev in Paris he pulled out the old clown tricks to try and give him the edge so guess we are back to square one.
@@meph320 I didn't mention that meddy is perfect I just used it as an example, but now that you mention it. Meddy is 10 times more likable than Stef because meddy does weird stuff but at least he is not a brat that curses his coach and parents and mistreats the ball kids... Like 90% of meddys rage is because of umpire or slow court's 😂😂
@@Carltheman69 mistreat the ball kids??? That was years ago!! 😳 🤣 The difference between the 2 is that at least Tsitsi is trying to change for the better. Meddy continues doing stupid things to distract his opponent. He's verbally abused his coach & umpires. Hasn't he also be known to smash his racket on the umpires chair? Tsitsi is far from perfect but as I said at least he's trying to learn from his mistakes. Why not look at how he's really trying to change rather than pull him apart from stuff he did years ago. What I also see is that when Tsitsi has clashed with other players they get resolved but Meddy still holds a grudge against him, even after Tsitsi openly regrets what he said, but Meddy still holds a grudge. Total immaturity.
Behavior like Tsitsipas happen if there is no parental education of respect and discipline in place. Kids get out of control, parents lose authority and the kid believes it is the master of the universe.
Yea he got it from his parents. I checked his birth date in astrology and see he has Mars in cancer. That gives him a victim mentality and he feels everyone is against him and making fun of him. He copies others and ends up losing. Even Serena Williams has it as is evident by her behaviour on court at times. He has the potential to be the best player if he fixes his mind.
Tsitsipas was, at times, a definitive bad sport, however, he's been relatively well-behaved for awhile now. It's called maturity! Not saying these types of incidents might not periodically surface, but it looks to me like he's at least trying to become a better sport!
If You wonder why he is this way just look at his father reaction after que almost hit Alcaraz, he says "What?" Like if there was absolutely nothing wrong about almost hitting him and not even apologysing If he inmediately gives his back after the shot is because he knows what he is doing
Tsitsipas is such a clown. No respect to the opponent. Imagine if federer had said that he felt he was a better player but djokovic prevailed with few tools that he had after Wimbledon 2019 final.
Just the emotions right after a loss-people just need to not be so offended. Fed was actually better overall in that match though. Won 17 more points. But the way the tennis system works in tennis, he lost.
Fed was the better player, did you not see the stats? I know simps say if you win you are always better. Fed had more breaks, more chances to break, won more games, won more points, won more everything that matters EXCEPT the big W. To anyone who knows the game, he was better by a long way.....yes yes yes we know he didn't 'win' lol
He has a talent for sure. Also sometimes his analyses after the matches are correct but lots of times he seems he finds wrong excuses for the loss. Also he needs to stop being an ass during the matches. If he cannot find anyone as a good example then he needs to observe Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. What do these guys do after the losses...
@@giedriusk.4321 he respects his opponents on the court and off the court, many players and people around him say, are saying, that he shows kindness towards players, towards his fans, towards kids. He also said by himself that on the court he is totally different person than of the court. That's why I think he is class. But this is just an opinion, you can have got your own opinion, I don't judge you😊
#1 - you have never played at any level of competition in your life #2 - no you would not have. You pretend to be tough as long as you're behind a keyboard not a sole believes you would ever confront a professional athlete
going for the body is absolutely legit. study the rules. it's much less gentleman-like to bounce the ball 20-30 times like Djoker or use all the time in the world between its serves to make oneself pretty and let your opponent wait and steal its focus like Nadal. if you want to argue that it's a gentlemen's game, we must have a look at many things - drop shots, aggressive net approaches, lobs, especially after drop shots and in particular by young players versus the older ones, body serves, time delays, everlasting ball bounces, celebrating after opponents' mistakes, showboating, trickshots, underarm serves, loud & frequent complaining (Nick Kyrgios is brilliant at it), letting you bring your sweaty towel by other people and so on. going for the body after your opponent comes aggressively to the net and blocks all the passing space and tries to win an easy point is by far not the worst of the above. the net aggressor is just begging for fire, that is my interpretation. since going for the body is not forbidden, stop whining and complaining and look for another sport if you don't like it. tai chi is a good alternative.
Lol considering roger n Rafa has nothing to do with the video, you have no problem with them being brought into the comments, but if Nole fans bring them up, you guys start crying. Hypocrites
I think every player has had these types of moments in their career. Everyone in the comments acts like the perfect human being who has never gotten angry or lost their temper. Piling up a compilation of moments like this can be done for all players and for every person in the world (if our lives were recorded), so I think people like us who aren't perfect and have made many mistakes in our lives, shouldn't judge and hate someone because of specific moments in their career. It's a very poor thing to do.
I hear what you’re saying but no, I think most people believe that if you’re going to be in the public’s view, you should be held to a higher standard. And he fails that standard regularly.
@@cherylharris7003 Like I said though, every player has failed the "standard" to some degree in their career. So Stefanos getting hated on because of it is stupid, since he is not the only player that has done this.
@@zvikazvizdic4313 I think its delusional for you to think that no other players are childish or have acted in bad ways before. Just look it up, there are compilations for all players.
He'll be a much better sport if he gets rid of his family from his coaching team. He's done some silly things but atleast he's maturing now. His relationship with Paula might actually make him a better person.
The Alcaraz one wasn't that bad, you can't come to the net and expect the opponent not to hit the ball near you. I kinda agree with his father's reaction. What next, no body serves?
nowadays i really can't believe that some years ago he used to be one of my favourite players... his behaviour just gets worse instead of getting better 😅
Really shows what a weak bunch we had in the supposed next gen. So funny to think of when him beating a 38 year old Fed at AO 2019 was touted as a changing of a guards.
6:20 Looks to me like he gave the ballgirl a towel. Instead of throwing it at her he placed it on the head of his racket. when she grabbed both the towel the racket. His reaction was not the best but I imagine he prob lost the match. She did keep the towel
It is undeniable that he has a certain talent and the maturity of a child. I hope he improves in his tennis and that his relationship with Badosa does not ruin the player he is.
As a person with greek genes i can confirm that this type of behavior is pretty accurate. Us greeks by nature are very hot tempeŕed and in some ways even kinda spoiled. These are traits that we are not proud of.
Not a fan of Tsitsipas as all… but his shot against Alcaraz was completely legal and I see nothing wrong with it… I imagine Carlitos would have been more furious if it had landed!
few years back I've noticed his pretty cool playstyle and thought here it is new generation's Federer, but it kinda faded away. I'm sure he can be great but he needs to learn to respect others and fix mentality :)
no. There's at least 2 guys in front of him for that title...andthey are both from australia! ill give you one of their names since you might have forgotten....Bernard Tomic...you should know who the other is
Crazy to me that the creator of this video has the nerve to add subtitles to Tsitsipas’ post game comments when it is harder to understand his own narration…😂
someone tell me, throwing the ball into the crowd and also trying to hit your opponent (which Tsisipas openly admits) - is it cool now?? while Djoko unintentionally hitting a line judge is a reason for instant disqualification from a Grand Slam tournament? this is madness 😮
I really can't stand this guy, could have never. But if there's anybody who can get through to him, please get rid of your parents as your coaches and don't let them sit in your box any longer. They and their fights we all can witness when we watch your matches are probably the main reasons for your childish behavior and also for no bigger achievements in your career so far. Because you're definitely one of the best players of the younger generation. And if you don't take care they'll also gonna be the reason you'll be single soon again.
Friend of mine:I hate Djokovic, he’s disrespectful Same friend: Tsitsipas is my favorite of the next gen. Make it make sense. He hates Djokovic with every fiber of his being but he worships Tsitsipas like a god.
It could just be their respective playstyles. I say that because some find Djokovic's defensive, machine-like style of play at times boring as opposed to a more offensive, aggressive style with players like Tsitsipas.
I think this is the same with most fans of any sport. Serena is another example in tennis. She’s been a very poor sport at times but people still love her.
