Should we do these everyday or alternatively? Also, is it supposed to hurt after doing it? Please answer asap!

If it hurts you are doing too much. And try every 2nd day

Wow thanks. I started getting ok amount of planter flexion, which I started practicing afte i watched part 1 and 2 of ankle mobility. But still struggling to get dorsiflexion. I will try this stretching now to get complete ROM. Thank you again.

I had ankle sprain 2 weeks ago. When would you recommend to start these exercises? I just started to re walk 2 days ago. Thank You.

2 weeks then straight away. 3-4 sets x 10 reps is a good start

Do you recommend a banded distraction with the band pulling the front of the ankle or is that incorrect?

I recommend both ways, if it’s pulling from the front it needs to be above the ankle and of from the back needs to be below

great video! I've suffered an ankle injury 2 months ago from ballet and my plantar flexion mobility is still stiff, is there a self mobilization technique you did with the band for dorsiflexion improvement for plantarflexion too?

Thanks you for the great videos! In your more recent video on ankle dorsiflexion, you mention that using the resistance band looped around the front of the ankle joint to help with the movement would be for helping with that last bit of mobility range. Would you advise the same for this band exercise that puts pressure from the reverse side (back of the ankle)? I'm wondering if I should wait to see a physical therapist who can help start to loosen up the joint manually or just give it a try DIY style. This exercise looks easier to achieve with my bigger resistance bands but I want to avoid aggravating the pain during dorsiflexion. Thank you very much!

To be honest you can do both ways - just follow the instructions on where to place the Bands for each one
