6 Month Cubing Progression - Complete Beginner to 15 seconds 

Here it is! I've been excited to finally post this video and It's been a while in the making. Subscribe to see any more progress I make :D

Ive been cubing for just over a year now, and I have become sub 20 a couple months ago, and now my pb single is 11.10. My pb ao5 is around 14 to 15 seconds. I think you have improved very fast, and I hope you get even fasted!

That's an insane pace of improvement! 51 y/o cuber here from the UK, first solved in 1980 with 52s using some ancient layer method. Came back to cubing after a 42 year break last summer after JPerm randomly popped up on my feed. Life is seriously getting in the way so my progress is way slow, still on ~50 secs but at least I know full PLL and 2-look OLL, plus most of the 41 basic F2L. Cross is my achilles heel though, my old brain just can't cope with it :), some wierd F2L cases also make me think for a good 5 seconds so my times are all over the place...aiming for a sub 30 ao5 but it seems such a long way away...haha. It's still great fun though and hopefully keeps the dementia at bay, subbed!

Hey, i hoped this isn't too late So i saw your solves and i see a potential of you being faster than one of my friends so here's some tips that can help you 1. Defenitely learn how to look ahead. It can seriously make you faster 2. Try pausing as least as possible specially for last layer 3. Try not to regrip and stay in home grip 4. Turn faster, it will make you faster 5. Also try learning some F2L as algs, it might help Hope this helps and i hope you make another cubing progression video, good luck in a competition and improving!

Amazing video, i am 12 years old, recently i have gotten back into cubing after quitting, having used beginners method. However, after around a week or two of solving again, i have learnt 2 look OLL, as well as 2-look PLL. Your video has inspired me to pursue my cubing love and attempt to reach sub 10, currently getting 33sec today, this is an amazing video, i am pleased to tell you i have subscribed.

Awesome I remember I found you through your 5 easiest olls before I knew any besides 2 look. I looked at your channel and I averaged around the same as you then. Yesterday I crushed my Pb single from a 10.71 to a 8.19. I am sub 15 now with an 11.42 Ao5

Ive been cubing for 10 months. My progression was very similar to yours, but I learned and practiced f2l a ton and learned full oll and pll 3 months in. currently average 15-17 seconds

6 months is a crazy drive to have. Keep it up, you might be beating every single chinese cuber.

Ive been cubing for 7 years and I never learned full oll. although despite this ive learned full zb which is a staggering 798 algorithms. it is first doing a zbls to orient the edges while doing last slot(305 cases) and then doing a zbll which is a 1 look last layer algorithm for when you have a cross (493 cases) including pll. I average around 11

This is crazy i also did start improving since march wen i learned beginer CFOP and since then i learned full PLL learned alot of finger tricks, in feburary i averaged over 1minute 10, and now i avarage 30 seconds. And even today i got a 26:95 AO5. I realy proud of me and i think if i learn advanced F2L i Will average sub 25 tô SUB 20 seconds, and dude nice job keep your hard work. The reason i dident improve since June is because i steping back 3x3 and i am maning 2x2 i used to average over 30 seconds and now i average 7 seconds

im currently going through something similar, but instead of sub 15, im trying to average sub 13 (i currently average sub 14) instead of learning full oll, im currently learning u zbll (i knew full oll since sub 20) basically same thing but different alg sets and averages

got a few comments, first, congrats on the fast improvement, second, don't stop the timer with your palms, or at least not with your fingers sticking out so much, and third, watch example solves from better cubers to implement new f2l solutions, lookahead isn't important for now but im sure you have already been told that before by someone like jperm idk
