I use to clean the court house alone over night in the dark I remember I was vacuuming upstairs and the elevator doors kept opening and closing. And when I was walking up there I heard creaks on the floor walking behind and I felt a heavy presence around me
I was born and raised in New Braunfels. I have a lot of family that still live there. I personally knew Irene Nuhn. She was a wonderful woman. I took music lessons from Walter Faust Jr. who was very kind to me. I lived in the Prince Solms in for 3 years full years when it was still owned by the Dillens. These are all Interesting stories but I also lived in a haunted house in New Braunfels. I won't give the address because I don't want some realtor or current owner angry with me. The house was built close to 1900. My ex-wife wanted the house as a "fixer upper". I always felt uncomfortable in the house and grew to hate it. One afternoon in summer and BEFORE the house was air conditioned I was oil painting a still life in the dining room. Suddenly I was chilled to the bone and you could see my breath like it was winter. We had a lot of bad luck in that house and finally sold it. Most owners are not long term and the house is repeatedly on the market. Not all ghosts are benign.
New Braunfels is the city where I was born and all of these stories you told are absolutely true. So right on. But I currently live in Seguin so I know about the hauntings they have there as well.
The woods Inbetween wendover farms and stone gate ,behind the bardominium off of 46 is also huanted. Theres a couple cemetaries within a mile. Heard 2 little girls playing around 1-2 am with 5-6 other buddies. It was about 10 years ago but we can all tell you exactly how it all played out. From pebbles to solid rocks dropping into the pond and little girls playing from a distance to little girls running back and forth ontop of the hill behind us.
You might want to read the book, The Mysteries of the Old Magnolia Hotel. It has more to Emma’s story and the real murderer, who still haunts The Old Magnolia.
I moved to New Braunfels a year ago and It weird that the Two places I automatically felt uncomfortable was the Phoenix Saloon and the Faust Hotel. I pick up a feeling of despair and darkness. I never new of history. Well I hope the spirit move on to a peaceful place.
Louisiana, especially N.O. has got probably the top ones. In fact, if you can believe this, having a haunted house in N.O. is a plus when selling your home. Weird, but true.
Literally new Braunfels is a fun place but ppl keep moving here just bc it's close to San Antonio and Seguin I lived here for nearly 13 traffic was never that bad now it's all eh and stuff

Tiktok shows the anniversary haunting of an 1800's passenger train derailment. It, supposedly, travels thru New Braunfels every year in Autumn. Have you heard of this?
01:27 - The ghost of the haunted cinnamon rolls! LOL It's in the 2nd one from the left on the top row. If you eat that one, you will poop three times before lunch!
My son lived in the old mill next to Landa Park which they made into very expensive apartments and I have seen many scary things in that building, men screams, shadow people moans. I hated that place. I've also seen the little girl at Faust.
@@raadalawanrealtor some employee claims that he sees a shadow of someone standing next to him as he working, one day he and a co worker was taping boxes and Al of a sudden the tape gun flew of the table without anyone touching it. The worker claims the ghost is a man from the 1800's I wouldn't be surprised if there's sightings at Bluebonnet Ford next door.
