I just discovered your channel and I’m loving your videos! Another Scot in Japan 🤗 I’m from Glasgow but enjoying seeing more of Edinburgh via your videos, arigato x
Twelve triangles has also one bakery/coffeeshop on Dalry Road, behind Haymarket. I don't when recently they opened but I discovered them a month ago. And I love it !
Another cool video that reminded me of a wonderful memory when I stayed at Haymarket. I will try one of the places on my next visit to Edinburgh, although it is not scheduled yet.
Good places to check out. One constructive comment. I wish there were more visual on the places to eat and less talking to the camera. I found myself forwarding most of it just to get a glimpse of the place u were talking out. Otherwise thanks, cant wait to check out these place nxt time im in Edinburgh 💙
Thanks! and I agree with you - but especially now it was really hard to shoot inside, I always feel like it's a bit of a dick move to keep the queue from moving and just leave more of my breath droplets around, haha!
Great video as always! There are few other places that opened that are worth mentioning. For example Missy's vegan cupcakes near Meadows, they make really good cheesecake and amazing coffee, everything there is takeaway only as it is quite a small place inside a gift shop. There is also The source coffee, I think they opened their shop in late June, they are a coffee shop and a roastery and they also sell sweet treats. I have not been there yet but really want to go.
I have to try Twelve Triangles next visit, everything looks good. We picked up rice flour and red bean paste a couple of weeks ago at a Korean market so I think my kid would like to try the daifuku.
Hi there! I was just thinking that I dont see a video of how is Edinburg after the lockdown and covid. Im convinced ill be going next year and cant seem to find any video on updates lol did everything just sent back to normal so theres no need to mentioning it?
I mean… kind of? I think one part of it is that we’ve all learned that once you say “this is it, things have changed and this is how things are now” it’s really asking for trouble 😂 it’s a bit of a moving target!
Any dairy free places to try or places that cater for them. We are going to Edinburgh next week and we have been kn the past but since become dairy free. Woild like sit down restaurants for evening and some places for lunch. Thank you
Hmmm, I do often avoid dairy when eating out too, and it's never been too much an issue - many places are now vegan-friendly, so that makes things much easier, but I think in general it's helpful to just communicate this preference to the staff and they will most likely do their best to make sure everything is dairy free for you!
