I love my doorbell. I am going to give the AFFIRMATIONS a go...love it. Thanks for going the videos and elementary ideas. I teach third however, it is helpful. I alsoblive the supply dump. I just worry about someone "borrowing" someone else's stuff. I am found to guve it a try! Thank you.
I only had one students say something to me about pencils missing, so I just gave her some I had in a cabinet. I think maybe a student just grabbed from the wrong bag and it wasn't intentional.
I am so amazed...I just realized you are in SC...SO AM I! I just did the Science Plus Collaboration in Greenville last month. I am between Columbia and Charleston.
Love the accountability of them having their own supplies. I have had nothing but issues using community supplies... They are super wasteful and I plan to try your method next year!
I have a Waiting Room with 20 numbered clothes pins in four different colours. That way it is easier for me to scan the room to see who of my (28) kids is next without calling out the number every time.
I happened to win a $100 gift card to Amazon from my school recently thanks to a silly competition (but, hey, I’m thankful I won!) and my community supplies have been bugging me to no end this year, so I’m going to use the gift card to get a supply cart and some mesh pouches like yours and I’m going to use your method next year!
My students keep 1-2 pencils at their tables throughout the day. At the end of the day, my pencil manager sharpens pencils and this is when students can get new pencils from their pouch. We also request pre-sharpened pencils on our supply list so a lot of students come with pencils already sharpened.
