There's a kid at school who has a really fancy fidget spinner, he treats it like its his CHILD, he has a case for it and brings SOAP AND WATER to school to clean it with.. he won't let anyone touch it, my teacher got sick of it and took it away and he started to scream. ;-;
Fidget spinners are a toy for stress relief, made for kids with PTSD/schizophrenia/other mental disabilities. Maybe that kid has one. I fucking hate this fad because of that, they've made a toy for disabled people into a fucking internet fad.
*Me and my classmates were using a fidget spinner in classes , in one of the class the teacher confiscated one of my classmate's fidget spinner and she used it while teaching she returned it after the class...* *The whole class was laughing* xD
I was allowed to have something to fidget with in school for my ADHD. (Before fidget spinners) My oldest son also for his asperger's can use a fidget spinner in class. I use one now in college for UX Design to keep me focused in class.

I understand the others, but whipping (I'm guessing you mean the whip and the nae nae), dabbing, and the word lit? Also my cousin would be depressed he loves Rubik's cubes.

They are supposed to help you focus, but every person I see that has one just sits there staring at the spinner instead of actually focusing on the thing that they were supposed to be "focusing" on.
xXFrostDaManXx I'm sorry but Adhd is not fake, I actually have Adhd and it's a medical condition where your nerves cant sit still so you jump around and fidget and sometimes it causes you to forget things like what happened yesterday so ADHD is not fake
vibrators were created to treat medical conditions too but you don't see people complaining. I hate when people go like "uhuhuhuhu you can only use it THIS ONE WAY, you are ruining the magic of fidget spinners by using it".
Also yeah, the claims are fake, it is advertised and such but there is no scientific basis on it, in fact researched showed that people with ADHD are getting more distracted by it than focused.
Anthony Bannister at my school there was an incident with them outside so the teachers think it's a good idea to ban them in classrooms and not outside which is where the incident was 😶
Some of the kids at my school have fidget spinners, some of the teachers don't mind, others just absolutely HATE IT. But ever since the first one that was brought, lots more kids have brought it. It's basically a new trend. I am also getting a fidget spinner, but I am not gonna bring it, because I don't wanna get it taken away :/.
They just banned fidget spinners at my school But for a different reason,kids at my school abused the use of fidget spinners and just got them cause everyone else was and they were just using them as toys and used to bring them to P.E. and lunch and trading them (to be honest I don't know why) sooooo yeah I kinda hate some of the kids in my school for doing this now...
yeah I can understand that. plus some of them can spin kind of loudly and bother me when im trying to focus. I'm fine with most of them though as long as they aren't being abused. it hasn't really become a problem at our school. I think fidget cubes are a better solution though. plus, they have more than one thing to fidget with. I don't use a fidget toy but if I did, I would get a cube.

I dont understand why these elementary/middle school have to ban everything... I remember when I was in 4th grade(now i graduated college), beyblades and YuGiOh were extremely popular.. Both were banned. However, for some odd reasons, pokers card were not banned.. So me and my friends started drawing our own YuGiOh card to play during recess, but my teacher was too bored with her life and confiscated our drawings of YuGiOh card for no reason.
Smart Delphox kids were using air compressors to spin the fidget spinner to 100 miles an hour and through it out the window. it flew 20 feet and busted a teachers car window
They are considered a distraction, not due to the noise, but due to the fact that the students spend more time playing with their spinner instead of doing work.
I have a fidget spinner and it's really dope! It has a fiery camo and it doesn't make noice! In my school at first they allowed fidget spinners but then for some really dumb reason my school just removed them and the principal even said in the speaker "To all teachers and students. The fidget spinners are now 'banned' from the school. If any teacher sees a fidget spinner they can confiscate it. Thank you and have a great day!" really dumb....
