Hii sir , I got 2 placement offers one from cerium system tech mahindra vlsi job , as associate engineer . And other is software job from capgemini . Which one should i choose . I wantend to know do vlsi sector pay better than software .plz make a video if possible .

Congratulations Shivani !!! Thanks for this video idea.... To answer your question see if you have interest in doing any job,then you can make insane amount of money in both the field .. Else in both the field growth will be saturated ... So go with your interest ... And specially to grow in VLSI industry you need to have a passion for electronics... Please dont consider money in the begining of you career unless you are the sole earner of your family.... I too started with software and then spend 2 year to do Mtech to get into VLSI .... so you are fortunate enough to get a offer from VLSI.... later in life changing filed will be little challanging

Sir, I'm a b.tech final year ECE Student and my CGPA is 8.68 and currently I am in the last Sem. I would like to get a job in VLSI domain. But I have pressure from my college and family to get placed in a software company. But I would like to do hardware jobs (VLSI/ Embedded). But, I'm not well prepared for GATE 2022. Sir, should I think about dropping one year for GATE preparation or learn VLSI courses? Is it possible to get into VLSI domain as a fresher without any prior experience or Mtech?

if its not personal , may i know ehy your family and college pressuring you for a software job ? ... if on campuse you have nay VLSI company try to get into it .... dropping is not a good choise unless you are too sure about what you want ... what i did is that i did 14 month IT job and on weekend i prepared for gate , you try this too... from BTech unelss you are from old NIT/IIT chnaser are very low to make into VLSI with a good salary,still you cna get into startups with 3-6LPA , if financials is not an issue go for startup jobs

Cover your basic of analog and digital ... In analog not everything , only mosfet part (refer iitd analog ckt nptel) then go for mos vlsi by iitm nptel and then start building 1-2 small project on EDA tool... About EDA video coming soon

Hi sir , currently I am b.tech 2nd year ECE student. I am interested in VLSI but not know how to start and also confused regarding IT jobs and core jobs as trends follows majority of students of electronic are switching towards software/IT jobs.

For first question for now you need nothing special for vlsi.. Keep focusing on course contents... Follow interest .. Trust me if you get 5lack a month also for few month or year you be appy but then you will be miserable... So go with interest even if in initial year it pays you less...

Sir , I am student of IITISM Dhanbad in M.Tech VLSI Design and my cgpa 6.57 and currently i am in last sem. To get the placement on i have to have 7cgpa . Please guide me what should i do.. because i m not able to seat in on campus placement

Yes CGPA is very important for campus placement.. But not the only thing to get a job... As you are in last sem if study hard also then also you result will come out only after you finish your course by may2022 beginning.... And i assume by then campus placement will be over .. So do one thing dont think for CGPA now leave it .. For next 3 month Concentrate on digital/analog concpets extensively , if you already have those concept right way try applying off campuse to all big and small company, 1 company outof 50 may reply you back but dont lose the hope... Try to get direct HR email as i said in this video and try connecting with them plus for next 1 month try to take a small project cadence or some other eda tool

You can start with small block like adder , multiplexer , decoder .. And attempt to do full custom design .. Like start with Verilog ,synthesis to schematic level verify then go for backend design ... Will be great vlsi flow flash for you and best to use cadence if you dont have access use any other open ware software

HI Gap is not an issue, issue is that if you not too fortunate you may need to work for 1-2 year with under paid job .... As one is your are from normal college 2 you dont have any industry experience... But trust me once you have experienced thf no one will ask you about college name gap year or anything .. And you can get paid as per your skill demand in industry... To get a job, calculation is simple you need to apply for 100+ post, out of this may be 2-3 will call you for interviews and you can convert less then 1%... But again you need to pay this price. Due to above said 2 reason.. And i guess this is not a difficult task... So start with applying to big small, internship and every other opportunities

Good evening sir... Your videos are very informative sir... I am Arshad from karnataka. I have completed electrical engineering with CGPA 8.66. I have taken admin in Mtech in VLSI field from normal private college. My dream job is to get placed in top MNCs in semiconductor industry like Singapore, Taiwan,...etc in manufacturing of semiconductor.Sir pls guide me on how to prepare for getting into this MNCs .....

Hi Murtaza , nice to here that you are so passionate about VLSI, for manufacturing you need to be very good with EDC , and the fabrication process technology ... As you are from private college initially you may not find a job of your choise but dont get dissapointed... Take up any vlsi job and get 2-3 year experience and also continue learning duiring thse time to get a dream job later

I followed 2nd option without a drop with a little easy to go MNC IT job... If your basics are not clear then 2nd way is better as it will build you basic stong... Go for 1st way if you are confident with your concepts... There yo get a job you need to e in yop 5% of then batch
