Wish I had this video two years ago. I did mini braids too small for my hair which explains why they did not hold up well. Now I know to choose the size more wisely. Thank you for this information!

Hi, I like your content. I decided to give it a try. The first session, I braided my very thin hair. Not Micro-braids. And used just shea Butter. By the 4th Week, My hair was "Joyfully" locking itself up. I ignored it till my 7th week, By then, I couldn't even take it down, My hair was super tangled. I took it down, lost a good amount of hair and riverted back to twists. Mid-sized twists and believe me, My hair is Happy. It's easy to take down, easy to install, with just shea butter, my hair is soft and curly like 4B Natural hair. I have seen some thickness too. I'm elated. Twists do shrink but i don't mind, My hair is soft and alive. I don't have single strand knots or anything. I just wanted to share with you. 💖💖💖💖💖

Yes , I agree. Micro braiding thin or fine hair causes stress, tension and increased risk of breakage. Too few strands have to take all the manipulation. Glad you found what works for you 🎉.

I want to thank you for the butter and oil regime it works and also braiding versus twists. It's true it does stay presentable. I've ditched the spray bottle however I do deep condition. It works for me but I don't wash my hair as often. And My goodness thank you for my daughter's hair. She has thick thick hair and I just could not find a style that lasts. This micro braids lasts it still looks good after 2months I do wash in-between maybe once a month. the twist just did not last it was frizzy, not to mention the damn spritzing regime which made it worse. So thank you, thank you.. I have just brush cut my hair to start afresh. My hair is fine and it was different lengths because of botox damage So I cut it all off . I do recommend that you do give your hair a break for a few weeks or even a month or two just so your scalp can breath. But yes micro braids are the bomb.and it is so worth the time it takes to put them in and take them down. You actually save time. Imagine not having to worry about your hair for 3months you can even push it to 4 and just redo the front and sides .big ups to you.

Thanks for the information. Honestly my micro braids really jump because my hair is still short. I think I will go back to mini braid. Am still waiting for the video on how I can care for my scalp because of dandruff.

It's easy, wash your hair once a month. .remember you said you usually wash it once every 3 months so now you can just wash it every 4 weeks. If the dandruff persists you go in with a bit of methylated spirits on cotton wool 3 weeks after you wash your hair if you're okay with methylated spirits. There's nothing new that I'll say in the video 🙃💚
