Been here for 23 days now, i am so positivly surprised with da Nang, Vietnam! Its so chill relaxing place to live, perfect place for a healthy good lifestyle in Luxury, On Budget! Love it! Good wifi everywhere! 15 km walking boulevard at the beach! Everybody here smile and are happy! Love this place soooo much! I only miss the chance to play some poker 2-3 times a month, would be nice with a Tourist Poker Club 👍😁
I have traveled the world. There is no better place for safety, cleanliness, affordability, and nature. Everything is so cheap, but the value for money is extremely good! I also stayed at the Doji Stars Hotel. Great spot with incredible prices.
Got back from Da Nang a few weeks ago. Your last series on Da Nang helped, thanks. I don't think you mentioned the noise from construction and Karaoke as being something to be aware of. And also having Bana Hills, Hoi An and Marble Mountains 1hour away is a plus.
Thanks. I never mentioned everything in one video as it would become too long and repetitive.I made a separate video about Bana Hills and another one about Hoi An. I remember mentioning construction in a video about the apartment I stayed in. :-)
I also stayed in two hotels priced similarly and they were ok for a few days. For a longer stay I like a nice outdoor swimming pool and something a little more modern.
@@AlwaysonaJourney Yes I wasn’t sure how long I would be there as I was seeing a dentist. I want to go back, this time I will stay several months and get a furnished apt with stove etc. . But yes. Good for a few days.
nice video. thank you for the information. i will be in da nang next week. ive booked 11 days, and hope it will live up to expectations, so i can extend longer.
Great video, Subscribed, I'm planning on coming to Da Nang in a few months. This was very helpful in informing me of how I can approach finding a place. I've never been to Vietnam and want to give it 30 days but I suspect I'll enjoy it and want to stay for the 90 days allowed for Americans. Thank you for your help.
I am Vietnamese😊😊,if you have much money, they are so friendly, you should study Vietnam's language to live viết nam,you will know characters of Vietnam's🥲🥲🥲
The highlight of my trip there was a short drive to Lang Co beach. Had fresh lobster and drinks on a bamboo hut on the beach for about $30. It's just over the old north/sth border either through the tunnel or over the scenic mountain drive
This was perfect. So much valuable information. Thank you!! Just wondering how you managed to stay in Vietnam for several months as a foreigner? Could you make a video on this? :)
Great video mate. one of the best about Da Nang out there. cant wait to visit Vietnam for the very first time in my life. My parents is vietnamese, i was born and raised in norway, they call me Fake Vietnamese ahhahaha
Quality video as always sent super thanks. Helped me with the entry requirements during the Phuket sandbox. Looking at Vietnam next so looking forward to the next vid :)
Cal. Thank you so much again. Da Nang is such a great place. I've got as few more Vietnam videos to edit. Let me know if you have any questions. If I can help, I will. ;-)
Really enjoyed your video. Where else have you had extended stays. We lived in Philippines for 5 months, which we enjoyed. Currently looking at different countries to vidit or stay when we retire.
@AlwaysonaJourney I'm thinking about trying Thailand and Vietnam once we retire.we originally planned on building a small house on land we own in Bohol, Philippines. Did you find the language differences in the different countries to be a major issue in enjoying your time there?
Traffic noise is a common complaint in Da Nang, especially during peak hours. Motorbikes are the primary mode of transportation, and their horns can be quite loud. It is a growing city, and there is always some construction underway. This can create noise pollution, especially if you're staying near a construction site. However, it's important to note that Da Nang is not all noise and bustle. There are also many quiet areas where you can relax and enjoy the peace. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, consider doing some research on the different neighborhoods in Da Nang before you book your accommodation.
Da Nang is becoming increasingly pet-friendly. Many hotels in Da Nang now allow pets, with some even offering amenities like dog beds and walking services. You can find a list of pet-friendly hotels on sites like Booking.com [Booking.com] or Pets Allowed: petsallowedhotel.com/da-nang/.
* Dry season with pleasant weather (February to May):This is generally considered the best time to visit Da Nang. The weather is mild with comfortable temperatures (around 22-28°C) and low humidity. It's ideal for outdoor activities like sightseeing, exploring the beaches, and motorcycling around the city. This is also shoulder season, so there will be fewer tourists than during the peak summer months. * Peak beach season (June to August):Da Nang experiences its hottest weather during this time, with average highs reaching 35°C. It's perfect for swimming and sunbathing, but it can also be quite crowded, especially at popular tourist spots. Be sure to book your accommodations and flights well in advance if you plan to visit during this time.
Yes, Americans can buy property in Vietnam, but with some limitations. Foreigners cannot own land outright in Vietnam. Instead, they can purchase a long-term lease on the land, typically up to 50 years. This leasehold applies to apartments in condominium projects, villas, and townhouses. There are also restrictions on the percentage of foreign ownership in a particular development. It's recommended to consult with a lawyer specializing in Vietnamese real estate law to ensure a smooth transaction.
I have traveled throughout Vietnam and lived in most of the large cities including Danang which I thought was the best..until I discovered another town that puts the rest of Vietnam to shame, but I’m not going to share it because I don’t want the place to be overrun with GenZ foreigners “digital nomads” walking around with their selfie sticks and clogging up coffee shops and trying to build their social media channel, like this dude. 😂
We have something in common then. We will both KEEP something. I'll keep filming when I feel like it and you'll keep your secret. Thanks for leaving a comment. ;-)
I'm the opposite. I love the laid back, chilled vibe. Nice beaches, plenty food options. Good weather and not overcrowded. It just depends on what someone wants.
the beach lookes like a zoo+same as in Bali. why one shall travel there, if You will struggle to find a free spot on the sand.way overcrowded. for some reason everyone is pumping Vietnam. rather would go to some Indonesian small islands+way less crowded and better environment.
Thanks for sharing your opinion My experience has never been as you described. I've never seen the beach overcrowded yet. I personally love Da Nang, so its easy for me to understand why people promote it. If it's not for you, that's OK. We all have different tastes, and that's good.
When will you people get your facts right, you just can't go and live in Vietnam. You've got a one month visa and a three month visa which are not extendable, you must leave the country at the expiration of the visa.
We know that you can't just go and live in Vietnam and are fully aware of the visa situation. There are no incorrect facts here. The video is titled live in or visit. For example, many people choose to base themselves in Da Nang for one, two or three months then leave. Many return or find a job and settle more permanently.
@@AlwaysonaJourney at the very least the title is misleading by your own admission we can't just go and live in Vietnam, then don't give 6 reasons why you should live in Vietnam. In fact don't even give 1 reason.
@dadbod7510 it would be a boring world if we all liked the sane things and had the same opinions. There's no hyperbole from me. I genuinely like Da Nang and I'm sure many other people do as well. .
Thanks for your comment! You're right, I can't demand subscribers, but asking is a way to let people know they can get more content like this. I appreciate you checking out the video!
