Comet is amazing - I bought it as soon as I could, because Peter Prinz doesn't design many games, but I love his game Thebes because it still seems so original and fresh (despite being released in 2007) and not like many other games - and Comet feels like that too, a breath of fresh air. Sequitur looks great - putting that on my wishlist! - and Compounded.

Not sure if it's an official variant, but if you want to up the educational value of Compounded, you can give a bonus point to a player if they can name the element they're going to land on when they score a compound
No, because you can get play of your bad cards even after you win them. Also the scoring is different. Looks like the cards go up to at least 18 here as well.
