I recently found a new church home!!! I am excited !!!! Preaching sound doctrine and you can feel the Holy Spirit in the church!!!! I'm grateful God lead me there!!!!!

Thank you Mark for your courage and example. When Roe vs Wade was overturned I received an email from a church I signed up o get news letters from. It was a young guy at the time, who started a new church. he is still pretty young actually ... anyway in his email to his church he asked everyone to NOT say anything that coming Sunday, in regards to this abortion law being struck down, because of the sensitive matter and that kind of non-sense. I emailed him back with the title "Not a political issue" he replied justifying himself and explaining how much they are doing for the community etc. I replied encouraging him to stand for the truth and how the Bible tells us to rejoice when righteousness triumphs! I told him "I know your church is in a very liberal region and you are probably afraid of loosing members but you have to be strong" ... later he replied asking me to pray for him to be strong. It is so sad how Pastors are so controlled by their fear of losing members and are so afraid of not being PC ... I know that the Apostles would have cared less about numbers or PC! I was raised in the UCC and I loved the church. Then it went gay. It breaks my heart to see my church I was raised in go south like this. I pray god will change the church.

Truth. I do want to point out though that Free Methodist (a very small denomination in the US) and United Methodist Church are VERY different. My husband and I go to a Free Methodist church here in Idaho, and they're quite conservative and traditional. The only criticism I would have is I don't 100% agree with their stance on alcohol, as they see it as a sin. I choose to not drink anyway, but I do not think alcohol itself is a sin. It's just one of those "open hand opinions" you mention sometimes. I respect their stance on it as their choice, and I obey the leadership on it, out of respect for the church and the order of authority, and the fact I already dislike alcohol anyway, but it is not a salvation issue. So far, that's the only thing we seem to differ on and it hasn't been a problem. Just one of those opinions that aren't something to get legalistic and divisive over. That said, they definitely are not apostate, and are VERY different than UMC (they spilt from Methodist back during the Civil War. They were Abolitionist, and UMC wasn't, I guess) The UMC (which is the vast majority of Methodists in the US) is utterly lost in apostasy. Very true. Sad to say. It's just something I wanted to point out because I don't want anyone confusing Free Methodist for UMC and then lumping them all in together accidentally. Which is a mistake my husband and I made ourselves. It's an easy thing to do, if one isn't aware they are different denominations 😂

Truthful and bold preaching here. Yet, the Bible's teachings concerning sexual morality are among the easiest to understand. A Ph.D. in Christian hermeneutics is certainly not required.

The Bible is our constitution. If God has said it, there is no reason to debate it. If He says it is a sin to shed innocent blood, it is. If God says homosexuality is an abomination, it is.

Not using and following God's preserved word found in the King James bible is usually the first step to apostasy.

Ill be honest maybe im a bad person for this: I always when I first go to a church I speak to the ushers / worship leader. If the worship leader is a loon chances are the church leader will be worse. The worship leader is the "image" or the "pretty face" of the church the one who should represent best what that church stands for. Its uncomfortable because you're judging a woman you dont know but just remember your judging for very specific things. When they start calling fire down and praying for little timmy to grow a new arm there you go. Theres your answer.

If your friend is struggling with drug addiction. You don't support their drug addiction and make it worse. You help them out of that drug addiction. Because you love them. Hate the sin. Love the sinner.
