Well, my thought process was .7 ohm each amp just slightly under 1 ohm each or .35 ohm from a pair to my MD12000.1. 5 ohm amps. Figured with rise i should still be good. But, didn't really go as planned with my 12ks since 1 went out on me
nice build , wish they had aftermarket support for first gen expeditions like all the chevy's got I just sold my zvx 18 now im gonna run two XFL ab 15's looking to hit a 145-148 on burp
I have numbers down. Luckily it's no where near what the equipment would've normally cost. By sourcing out everything myself I've been able to save. Like buying some of my XXX 15s in original condition even brand new kn box for $125 each compared to the $999 they used to retail for
The dyno on the amp and price point is definitely impressive. I've also seen someone say it's much more powerful than the MD12000.1 so, I'm definitely open to the idea
Shiiiiiiiiii once you update to some better amps that mocka focka gone be whoppin, thats a bad azz setup man just needs better amps other than that lovely build 😎
Funny thing is i thought about trying a Powerus some time ago. I ended up getting a few Taramps MD12000.1. I tested my system with the 13k and my 15k as well. I just like to have fun with my system but soon I'll have my truck alot louder. Just gotta seal it up better to handler the pressure that's coming
Lol yea it is pretty bad. But it's mainly because my rear vents are wide open and i haven't filled them in yet. Once i seal the truck properly it shouldn't sound so much like a Tin Trash Can
@@BIGJURAY20 dodge neon srt4 walled with 4 18" massive audio gordo's, each sub on 10k. Metered 163.4 db on music at slamology in 2015. Did 163.6 in 2016 at slam. It peaked at 167.2 @ 38hz burp.
Not tryna hate but that's not enough power for those subs. You can tell by watching them. They're barely flexin. That's about 15 or 16 thousand on six 15's. Do what you wanna but those subs have way more potential then your getting out of them. Those amps only do a third of what's written on them.
Oh yes you're right. I know fully my subs can handle more power. If you watch my other recent video's i had a 3500 per sub. I just like to try different amps and see how it plays
You're also right about these amps only putting out a fraction of the power that's on the amp but for the price they're pretty nice. I got these amps in a deal i made so i don't have much more than $600 into all 4 amps.
@BIGJURAY20 That makes it make sense. I just couldn't understand it because you obviously went heavy with the system but those amps didn't live up to everything else you did. I'll check out your other vids.
I got these in a deal and have $600 into all 4 amps. Figured I'd have some fun with them but i have every intention on making this even louder. Just have a few things to address with the body flex so it can handle power upgrades better
@FuckRU-vidCensorship2024 Believe it or not i have Foam and Sundown Audio 160mil which is no different from Vibraflex. Only reason my truck still flex is because i never did my doors or covered my rear vents
@@BIGJURAY20 yea that sundown stuff is same as vibraflex. I think sundown stuff is more expensive cause of the name. Back hatch, quarter panels, and roof are the biggest areas for suv's that need covered. My denali i did 120 mil on the doors inner and outer skins. Did vibraflex everywhere else and wood panels on roof. I have 4 dc audio xl elite 15s on 2 dc 9k's at 16v. Does 158s on music. I also have a dodge neon srt4 walled with 4 18s on 40k watts that does 163s on music
No need to be sorry it's definitely not for everyone. I just like to enjoy my system it doesn't always have to be crazy loud. But there will be a time where this truck will be 160 plus with the same subs
Maybe but not with those amps they are rated at 7k rms @ 1ohm but dynamic (burst) tested 6,200w rms, certified tested 5,300w rms both at 1 ohm. At 1.4ohms with impedance rise, you arent seeing 3k out of each amp.
@@BIGJURAY20 its a nice budget setup dude, not bashing. Which you know those amps dont do rated. 1 per sub would be a huge difference and see lots of gainz
