6 steps to achieve emotional resilience?
So in this video, I'm going to discuss about these six steps.
Step number one, identify your feelings. Ask yourself how you're feeling emotionally and if possible, write your feelings on a paper and identify positive and negative feelings. And first step is to recognize and accept feelings. Identification is the first step.
Step two, understand your thinking patterns. There is a connection of thinking patterns and feelings, emotions and our energies. To master emotions and improve our energy levels, there's a need to work on thinking patterns because negative thinking patterns are associated with negative emotions and negative energies or negative behavior. So there is association of thinking, emotions, behavior and our energy levels.
Now step three, start challenging your negative thinking patterns. What you need to do is try to dissociate negative meaning from your negative thoughts so that you should have neutral thoughts. Try this on a paper, write these negative thinking patterns and try to replace this with neutral thoughts. Gradually you will develop a skill to replace these negative thoughts with neutral thoughts and gradually with positive ones.
Next step four, connect with positive people. Make sure you're surrounded by people who are supportive and positive as there is energy transfer in these positive interactions.
Step five, take care of yourself. Spend some time taking care of yourself and your well-being. This could include meditation, listening to music, exercising or anything else that helps you in rejuvenation because that will increase productivity and emotional resilience.
Step six, let go and move on. Choose to let go of the negative emotions and focus on the positive ones. Take these baby steps and know that with each step you are getting closer to a better emotional state.
