There are several ways to do this, some ad strips to a log, others build a wrap like we do. I think the wrap makes the colors more jewel like.

+big bang is V.I.P If the pot was a non-stick pot I think you are not going to be happy. I'm afraid this work is not something I think people can do safely at a home with normal cooking tools. Sugar dissolves in water, so fill the pot with water and leave it. Over time it should loosen and dissolve.

+big bang is V.I.P when the hunk of candy gets thin enough(residue on the walls) fill it with a 4 cm of water, bring to a boil and put on a lid, even if the lid does not fit well! Then candy could steam off at that point depending on how bad you burned it and the type of pot you have. Good luck.

+CatspitProductions We make Cherry in season. We usually don't make much spearmint. I love it, but the peppermint is what people go for. Mind you we are always happy to make a custom batch.
