I got the problem of dating. People will always hide their true self even when dating. I had that advice from adults and friends. And my friends who chose dating didn't really turn out so good.
@mistermood4164
@mistermood4164 9 лет назад
Afiq Zulkarnain yes, but how will you find a partner without mingling?
@afiqzul-star8768
@afiqzul-star8768 9 лет назад
Mister mood Either you marry a close friend that you 100% know and they have the same feelings towards you and leave to faith or have an arranged marriage with a person you (or your parents) know is faithful and a good person. Your chances of divorce is lower and you will experience more happiness than 'love' marriage with arrange marriage. Choose someone with a good heart and if you are muslim, choose someone who is religious and your intention of choosing is because of Allah. Insyallah, you can find your partner. Also, it is also an added bonus if you have a good heart then others will choose you. Just be aware that 'love' is just hormones and more often than not, it can be due to hormonal imbalance.
@mistermood4164
@mistermood4164 9 лет назад
Afiq Zulkarnain how can you know someone 100% if sexes are segregated? just because you parents choose someone for you doesnt mean you are going to be a good match. plus muslims in the west are having a harder time as their much less of them.
@afiqzul-star8768
@afiqzul-star8768 9 лет назад
Mister mood I exaggerated the 100%. You cannot truly know someone. If it helps, you can hope for the best and leave it to fate. Yes, but those are base of statistics. If you have a hard time, either go for arranged marriage, use a social media or convert your partner to Islam (some of my friends are doing that).

My family encouraged dating white people. "Mejora la raza" means improve the race. My mom said it constantly. I was born with darker skin than the rest of my family. My mom told my brother never to marry a dark skinned girl he has to marry a light skinned girl. My mom told me that if I married someone with lighter skin than mine our kids would look better than if I married someone with dark skin. They were so pissed when I started dating a black guy. Even angrier now that I've fallen in love with him. My parents don't like black people.

i totally agree with the name game thing. My name is out of a Hindi dictionary and it has a beautiful meaning (It literally means Earth and I'm proud to have been named that way), but every time a Teacher's Assistant, Professor, or Teacher, or adult who doesn't know me goes through a bloody attendance sheet, they butcher my name. I can't stand it. It's so stupid. It's not that hard to pronounce correctly.

@moe9596
@moe9596 9 лет назад
+DancingPotatoe16 They dont get offended, its just irritating because to you your name is normal and easy to pronounce since you speak the language it comes from. Alongside that people often try so hard to fit in but their seemingly different name is a constant reminder of how they are different. You wouldn't find it irritating if your name was for instance John and everyone you meet day-in day-out would go "Jo-hn? is the J silent?" "Joh? Joneh?"
@ConfuzzledTomato
@ConfuzzledTomato 9 лет назад
+Moe H thats such a non issue though. id be more unsettled if they didnt even bother to clarify how its pronounced and kept calling me "Joneh". ethnic names sound different ANYWAY so better make it correct and different instead of anglicised and different.
@moe9596
@moe9596 9 лет назад
Confuzzled Tomato Might be a non-issue to you dosent mean it isnt to other people. Like I had just said the fact that people are asking isnt the issue its the fact that entire scenario is a reminder of how odd their name is to most people.
@ConfuzzledTomato
@ConfuzzledTomato 9 лет назад
+Moe H odd isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have a ethnic name and it's a non-issue after first 2 days of meeting someone. these people have it so good they're literally finding excuses to be offended.

In people's defense for mispronouncing my name, that's on my parents because they misspelled my name, I had no issue with bringing my mother's cooking, I wasn't allowed to go a sleepover even though I was invited, ironically it was from a fellow latino. My parents wanted me to date as young as 1st grade, it's my sister who wasn't allowed to date even though she's an adult. My family is down to camp we just never made the plans to do so. I had no issues calling talking to my family from out country.

Ok I have a question... If you moved countries as a child (say 6 years old, moving from Mexico to England) and had a parent who was originally from England who you moved with, you are an immigrant right? I went to England to visit my English part of the family alot - BUT ANYWAY THAT WASN'T THE QUESTION. So I've lived in England since I was 6, and now I'm 15 so it's almost been 9 years. Am I still an immigrant? I know I'm an English citizen, but can you be a citizen and an immigrant at the same time? Just really curious...

Daily Divine Inspiration Sat 03 Aug 2019 Topic: Guard Yourself Against The Thief Key Text: John 10:10 KJV - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Humanity still doesn’t understand that it’s imperative to run far from the thief. Many people, including believers, have made an alliance with him, even when the Word of God clearly states that the three-fold mission of the thief is to steal, kill, and destroy. Could it be true that many believers read the Bible just to get themselves engaged when they have nothing else to do? Any believer who understands who the thief is and what it means when the Bible says the thief came to steal, kill, and destroy would do everything to make a wall around himself or herself for the thief not to come in. John 10:10 KJV The Thief Could Be Around You Now: Many people are expecting to see a man with a gun next to them so that they can say that this is the thief in John 10:10. No! The thief is either next to you or in you whenever sin is found in you, no matter how big or small the sin may be. Its mission is to steal your salvation, kill you, and send your precious soul into hellfire. Do not give him an opportunity to gain entrance into your life. James 1:15 KJV Your Soul Would Blame No One Else But You: Beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ has done His part by exposing the thief and his mission to you. It's now left for you to keep off his territory or not. No one is strong enough to wage war against the thief (DEVIL). The only weapon one could use to fight him is the fear of God. Whosoever the thief gets a hold of and dies in his hands would face the wrath of God. I don't know how far the thief has gone in your life, but you have the opportunity to be free now by submitting your life to Jesus Christ in total obedience. 1 Peter 1:9 KJV Prayer: O Lord, grant me the wisdom to understand the tricks of the devil so that I don't fall prey to him, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. Reflection: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 KJV More about Daily Divine Inspirations, www.msrpm.org Visit Our RU-vid channels for more undiluted end-time messages: 1. I came at the age of 8. I don't have an accent in English and I'm accustomed to most American things, if not all, depending on what you define to be American. When I tell someone I wasn't born in the country, they either don't want to believe me or think I'm kidding because I don't act like the person that's fresh off the boat. And I'll get asked a lot if I'm legally here too. So yeah, even though I'm very "Americanized" I still speak Spanish fluently and I'm and immigrant.
