Are you new to the Anno Series like me? Or are you just new to the console edition of Anno series? Even if you are a veteran, these Anno 1800 tips and tricks are bound to help your city thrive.
Watching this video also gives you an idea of what the gameplay looks like.

List of the things I Wish I knew in Anno 1800
10 by 10 block
Use Farms in weird sizes, edges
Traffic flow based on placement: refineries vs storage
Stone roads makes carts go faster and increase building ranges
Don't make steel beams. Buy them.
Pollution is island wide. It doesn't matter where they are placed

Set minimum storage limit and sell everything over that. Soap and sails make a lot of early game cash.

This is going to sound sooo stupid. But how do i store items in a warehouse? It's in range of what i want to store. But when i click on the warehouse it says none is storage. :"(.

Not stupid at all. I believe that items are stored automatically when they are in range. How many warehouses are in range? Also, have you tried clicking on the harbor? I think that is where you can view your inventory. (Trying not to get Steam Build World mixed up with ANNO. Lol) Also, is that good you are looking for instantly being turned into something else? I could be wrong but depending on the setup of your city, the workers might bypass the warehouse and go straight to a refinery instead. Does this help? If not, let me know and I will try to investigate further.

@SimGamesCorner I'm trying to store bricks. The roads are green near the warehouse but the warehouse isn't storing anything :(. None of my warehouses are actually and they are right next to what I want to store. :(. (Also, thank you for replying at all!) Also Also Also I'm using ps5, no mods.

@@K.114. I'm on xbox with no mods! So what I am reading on the wiki is the a warehouse is a building that is used by carts in order to load goods from and to the island's storage. The trading post provides space for storing goods so I believe the trading post is the storage. When you upgrade the warehouse, space capacity doesn't get upgraded. It only upgrades the loading ramps. If you upgrade the trading post however the space capacity is upgraded along with the ramps. I think that the issue may be how fast you are making bricks. Bricks are needed for a lot of construction items and are used up pretty quickly if expanding. The ratio for brick production is 2 brick factories per claypit. Is this helpful? Let me know and I and try to look into it further. Honestly? I think that Steam Build world had a better tutorial and I learned more about Anno that way then actually playing the game. Weird right?

@SimGamesCorner that is helpful buuut I'm not making bricks too fast. because the storage capacity is full. Lol. And ohh!!! Maybe I should get that game and then just use that knowledge for anno! Lol!!

@@K.114. Lol maybe. If your storage capacity is full that might be why. Have you got it setup to where you can sell your overage when trading ships come?
