Hi Brian, after you have had your alj hearing, how long is the wait for the decision and should you or can you call the local hearing office that is on the notice to follow up ?

Had my alj hearing, but the VE was unable to attend. I was told the judge has to send their questions to the Vocational Expert, and once the judge receives the answers back to the questions, they will make a decision. It's going on over a month, and still no word from the VE. Do you have any experience or knowledge with this, and did it take longer because the VE did not make the hearing?

Hi Brian, I just got my green light. I know what my monthly benefits will be, it was 4 weeks after my ajl hearing. I was contacted by my payment center (BIRG, AL) the third week on this call l was asked to verify my info. I wasn't sure about this, the SSA employee did give me their information and informed me that my local SSA office could verify who they are, so that's what did. The SSA payment employee did tell me the status my claim (no money amounts)just the status, they were correct with the information provided.

Here is the thing u can say it but u have to prove it with actions simple u can say u had therapy in the past but u stop going because u didn't see any results in if it's actually in your medical records u should be good to go the big one is are u going back to it though if not then u should the answer to that question lol if u can get treatment for your situation do it especially if u say u r going back to it as well
