I’m a Chelsea fan and I can imagine Cucurella will be both = to challenge Chilwell at LWB but also to fill in at LCB when needed. Worth noting though that Chilwell hasn’t played LCB for Chelsea before. Emerson has on the odd occasion - not sure what we’ll do with him if Cucurella comes in and Alonso goes to Barca
happy to have bailey in my squad alongside martinelli because it allows me to upgrade to ederson and james at the back instead of mendy and trippier which im happier with overall. Did have to drop rashford but will monitor him to make sure i dont want him in before the wildcard.
My final FPL Team draft- Mendy TAA, Robertson, Cancelo, Dier, Ben White, Salah, Sancho, Martinelli, Jesus, Kane Bench - Ward / Andreas / Colback / Plange 0.5 in the bank - GW1 -> Kane to Haaland for GW2 - Thoughts? Picked players on pre season form (really want Saka but .. Martinelli for 6 mil is a snip
Spurs fan here - the injury Doherty got against Villa is the type of injury you have to manage and control the way you play which means there’s a good chance Doherty won’t be playing up to the form he had last season
Any I think you're totally wrong when saying cucurella playing left centre back "isn't his best position", it's where he's been playing for us since March and is definitely his best position. With rudiger leaving, this transfer makes perfect sense for Chelsea, and he can always play lb in a 4, or lwb in a 5 as a backup to chilwell, but lcb in a 3 is in fact cucurellas best position
Managers aren't daft. They (and their players) know what they're saying, how they're trying to influence their boards and how to set expectations. Koeman did this at Southampton and then had a great season.
@@RK14.72 "Ward is an exceptional keeper. I've always said that we've got a number one there. I've got every confidence in him to go in there and do a great job" - Rodgers
Im a chelsea fan. I see cucurella doing both. he would play as an lcb as we need someone to carry the ball well in that spot. then if chilwell gets injured then he plays lwb
Rlly nobody talking about almiron at 5M? 6 goals 2 assists in pre season including 2 brilliant goals against a great benfica side. I’ve watched all of our pre season games and he looks like Eddie has been working hard with him to improve his end product, he’s in my team
Declan Rice West Ham out in Leicester City's Dewsbury-Hall or Newcastle United's Almirón I got these differentials off another FPL site on you tube. And is Rodrigo a good option from leeds who is playing in Midfield. Also Sanchez and Ward a good Option as Rodgers mentioned through holly Shands youtube page that ward from Leicester City will be the starting gk and wont sign a new GK instead of Ederson and Olsen.
What’s peoples thoughts on Erikson? He’s proven premier league quality and is pretty nailed on starter for Utd. He’s onky 4% owned. I think he’s a great differential and poss great value!
How are there any concerns over Patterson's minutes?? He'll start and Coleman is unlikely to play wingback at all anymore. Everton playing 3 at back is nailed, and if Coleman returns it'll be as right sided centre back. No legs.
Andy please could you help me out with this cause I'm literally frying my brain rn😂. So the problem is should I go with Bailey, almiron, gray, Gordon or Fraser as my last midfielder, playing a 4-5-1 formation
I’m a spurs fan and I know that there is quite a lot of rotation with the wingbacks, sessegnon was always a rotation risk, even when regulion was injured. Doherty is a rotation risk also with Emerson there, because conte does like him (and also spence) but Perisic should be nailed at left back with Sergio probably on his way out. So I would expect Emerson and Perisic starting
Can I've some opinions on my squad feeling it's nailed on as long as there's no fitness concerns.. Ederson, TAA, James, Coady, Zinchenko, Cancelo, Salah, Saka, Neto, Haaland, Jesus Bench: Begovic, Bailey, Pereira, Greenwood
Its already really late for this kind of news to come out about the GK leaving less than a week before the start of the season. It would have been very unlikely to hear that after the start if the season.
@@bigfudge2031 well nice could have come in for him after the first match or it could have not come out that they were not planning on a replacement, which most people would assume they would. Would've just been nice to have him as a playing 4m at like 2% starting ownership lol, won't complain tho at least we have a playing 4m, doesn't matter much that I don't get a lucky headstart owning. Who knows might be waffle and they go sign lafont or someone anyway lol
Ramsdale Dias, Cancelo, Trent, Robertson, James Salah, Martinelli, Neto Kane, Jesus Ward, Andreas, Colback, Archer Any thoughts? Loving these videos, so excited for the season.
@@kieran.harris3 yeah, for southampton i am like 85% sure they start, and for chelsea we could see emerson come in for doherty for more defensive stability however that is unlikely as emerson is shite
Hey Andy, appreciate the vids over preaseason always helpful info. Quick question that you probably wouldn't put in a video but what 4m GK should we go for? Doesn't seem to be a standout like last year with Foster, I've had Gazzaniga all preseason cuz he played some minutes for Fulham but they just signed Leno. Edit - just finished watching the video haha cheers Andy! All aboard Danny Ward!
Nice team tbh. 2 cheap ‘value’ midfielders. I’m not sure on Neto, maybe I’m wrong but wolves tend not to score many and ended last season on poor form. But I Koke he’s one that’s been hugely talked up in the community.
@@RyanMurphyFootball My team is Sanchez, Perisic, Trent, Zinchenko, Robertson, Bowen, Groß, Salah, Ødegaard, Kane, Jesus with subs: Dalot, Andrea and Archer. I’m full of confidence that Kane will be excellent this season so for me he was a must have. I know what you mean about Haaland v Bournemouth but I wouldn’t be shocked if Kane scored against Chelsea. Plus for me Kane will go crazy this season and score 28+ in the league and with a good number of assists too.
Surely Alonso is a backup for Chilwell? I can't work out why Chelsea want Cucurella. If it is to play center back that surprises me because he is only 5 foot 7. Chelsea's transfer business has been very strange.
So finishing touches for me are between James v Chilwell and Martinelli v Foden. On the bench Undav v Grenwood. If go with Martinelli have money in the bank. Any thoughts?
@@joe_littlerr it would mean sacrificing Son who is absolutely non-negotiable or Haaland who will score for fun, especially given City have a very nice early fixture list. I’ve got Darwin Nunez to make up for it who will also get goals for Liverpool
@@dominicwatts7107 Nunez outscored Salah in pre-season 5 goals to 3. I’m not saying Nunez will get more points than Salah over the course of the season, but I don’t think Liverpool fans realise what they’ve got in Nunez, the man is a goalscoring machine. He’ll definitely get A LOT of points over a full season.
Not at all if he's number 1, you could have easily had Ben Foster when he started and a non playing 4.0 last season. Issue is if Leicester sign a Keeper in between GW1 deadline & the end of the window, which is fine if you don't mind using a transfer for a keeper but you'll need a spare 0.5
i’ve got a dilemma… sancho and raya, or bank on ward 4.0 million keeper and mahrez? i’m leaning towards ward and mahrez cause that’s the type of player i am! anyone with any opinions please comment and help me out.
oh then that’s very tricky… i’ve got martinelli and pereira and leon bailey. would you have to start both martinelli and dasilva? if not then i’d go dasilva and martinelli (assuming you’ve already got pereira) and start marspagetti
1. There's no better manager to improve Spence. Conte is a genius with wing-backs. 2. Spence said he wanted a move to a club that wouldn't loan him out straight away
Tuchel’s desperately trying to keep Azpi from going to Barca, couldn’t that mean him playing RWB instead of James? Not sure many managers would like the look of Azpi at CB, even though he’s played there before, he’s small and weak and obviously can play RWB himself. I don’t think I can go for James GW1
Scott Parker is the manager at Bournemouth, he used to be the manager of Fulham but left after the club got relegated in 2021. Fulham is managed by Marco Silva
