Ocean swimming is the most enjoyable type of exercise for me but nothing is scarier than sharks. I am comfortable to swim in any water and any depth but as long as I am certain there is no huge sharks around! If it wasn't for the fear of sharks, I would be swiming every day in the ocean. What is your tip to keep the sharks away while swimming?
The secret is: sharks don't like humans. That's literally it. Almost 100% of shark incidents were test bites. Beaches with turve water, surfists in their surf boards (it reaaally looks like a turtle or a seal from below, just Google it), even when the sharks actually has the chance to eat you, they always go away. I can guarantee you that if a shark knows you're a human he'll leave you alone... You just have to do your part though
@@caiovinicius5204 I have no doubt about shark attacks are generally mistakes from Shark's side but even a test bite on human can be fatal and in cases that you are lucky enough to survive the bite, you'll, at least, lose a limb - that's not fun...
@@caiovinicius5204 I'm also a scuba diver and have had multiple interactions with different species of sharks over the years - bullsharks, tigers, GWS etc. It is very very different when you are on scuba than just swimming. If you know what to do if encountered an "aggressive" shark, then you'll be fine. The problem is as a swimmer you are too vulnerable to any shark interaction unless the shark chooses to ignore or avoid you...
Was in Egypt, went to the Red Sea. I did the first mistake, don’t panic. I know how to swim and started panicking. It was totally different than the pool
