Hey Mitch.... Appreciate your presentation of drone cinematic moves one can develop. I've been practicing these for a few years now. The combo control shots are the ones which take the most practice, especially the gimbal up or down rotation, combining that with a turn right or left, while moving forward (add climbing or descending). Practice. Practice. Practice. Patience. Learn from one's mistakes. Your point about combining movements, makes for more interesting and better cinematic footage, is well made. Cheers
All those flight were mad bro I think my best was when the drone was close to the ground likewise the camera facing downward and the tilt the camera forward Mad moves bro I'll try all
One little tip that I would like to add is that when you are making your moves with your multiple inputs etc, try to make as little adjustments to the sticks as possible throughout the shot, when possible! I have ruined many shots by making adjustments that make the shot look less fluent and kinda takes away that professional look from it. Especially for shots that I want to speed up in post! What I do is just to try to anticipate the movement of the drone, and just hold the sticks in the exact same position. Of course it is not applicable to all shots, but when I make adjustments throughout the shots I make sure that I do it with intention for that specific shot 🙂
Pretty sweet locations to film in, I must say. One tip, even though most people ignore it, is to know the local drone laws. If caught disobeying the rules, it could lead to some pretty hefty fnes. Also, don't do anything stupid like fly a drone around an airport or helipad.
Amazing tips. I think wind can play a vital role while shooting some of these shots. I would recommend checking the wind conditions on UAV forecast or Tomorrow Weather (used to be Climacell) for best results.
Great video, as always! Makes me wanna take out my Mavic Mini again.. I bought it when it was first released but unfortunately due to… well, life, it’s been collecting dust recently. Time to change that! Thanks for the inspo guys! 🤠
Yeah the Alps are so beautyfull. Btw. I don‘t know why but your comment is for me just incredibly motivating to go on making films and go on in life in general! Thx.
can you guys make videos about different between nikon, canon and sony. the best and worst of it. because i am planning of buying camera but ya i dont which one better for me.
My drone (Holy Stone HS510) has no image stabilization, so I can only use upwards or forwards shots (and the occasional pan) in my videos lol 😂. Any advice?
