Thank you for the links to the other stories.. I know what I will be listening to when it is finally dark (as its summer in scotland) Thanks again for all the amazing stories you do! X
Thanks for this heads up ... I'm going to around and make sure I miss that one. Literally the only thing that disturbs me on a serious level ... Freak out over those things
She wasn’t beaten to death, thankfully. She was just very badly beaten. Romans 12:19 “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay”, says the Lord.” Psalm 7:11 “God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.” Romans 2:5-6 (NIV) “But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed. God will repay each person according to what they have done.”
Funny enough when I was younger a roach flew into my ear too. It’s not too uncommon. Basically I was out one day and when I came back inside before I went to bed there was this buzzing sound in my ear accompanied with an excruciating pain. My dad told me to shut up because I was being a crybaby so I just tried my best to ignore the pain and went to sleep. I woke up and the pain was gone so I continued my life as normal. A couple of days later my ear started itching really bad so I’d do this suction cup thing with the palm of my hand and my ear but it never really went away. But I figured it was nothing so again just continued my life as normal until maybe a month later I was in class (elementary school) and I asked my teacher to go to the nurse because I was fed up with my ear itching so much. Walked there, I told the nurse what was up, she checked my ear and said “Jesus christ what is that” I have no clue what’s going on so I’m thinking I’m dying while she calls another nurse to come in and take a look and she said “I think it’s a bug” “should we call an ambulance” “no just call her parents to bring her to the ER” did exactly that and they flushed my ear out with some Saline or whatever and the doc said it was a flying roach and that this actually happened somewhat regularly. I cannot explain to y’all how much relief I had in that moment like a build up of wax and a whole ass roach came out of my ear canal and I felt like I could finally live my life without being constantly distracted by an insane itching in my ear. TLDR: I had a roach in my ear too lmao
Story 5 is my worst nightmare, and the one who gave me the chills for real. Growing up in Brazil it was quite hard to get rid of bugs everywhere, specially cockroaches. I already lived in places where I was awoke by the horrifying noises of them walking around my bedroom, or knocking in the window from outside (yes that already happened in the middle of the night, it was the most random/horrifying thing trying to block the roach from entering my bedroom while keeping my cool). Now I live in a country without any roaches, but Jesus, I will have nightmares tonight about the whole ordeal.
As soon as I heard the word “ear,” I clicked out of story 5. That’s a nope from me. I found a roach in my bed one time about five years ago (it had come in from a window that was accidentally left open), and I’ve been terrified of that happening ever since 😱
Story number 5 hits deep, absolutely horrifying, through the whole story I couldn't stop thinking about my own experience with a deer fly. Granted that experience wasn't quite as bad, but feeling something crawling in your ear is... it's a feeling alright 🤢
Story 1, I need to know how Alice is! Did she survive her injuries?? Was her friend safe? Oh I hate unanswered questions 😂😂😂😂😂. Great upload, thank you, as always for all your hard work and great content 🧡
You can never get that smell out unless you take up the whole floor and replace it. And when it rains, the smell with be 10 times worse! Helpful hint when you see a new carpet, go into the basement and look up at the floor boards for any stains! Better to know someone died and laid there for weeks in the hot sun so can nope out of there, then get the truth from neighbors after you paid for it and have started living in it!!!
Yeah, it's super unfortunate that this stain actually was apparently from a murder :( ...but I'm really thinking that in most cases a stain like that is just from a dead body that wasn't discovered "soon enough". In some climates it takes a relatively short amount of time for this to happen so it's pretty common for people to just not even notice someone died until there's going to be permanent evidence. I wouldn't have made the assumption that a stain like that would automatically be sinister, just sad. I think it's fair that it was listed back on AirBnB after sufficient cleanup under the carpet..and that the new owner didn't realize that whoever cleaned it up originally hadn't addressed the floor under the carpet. I might sound harsh but I feel like the person telling the story was a bit too upset about their own situation about finding the stain, when they even got their money back, and are mad at the wrong people. They're not the real victims, here. I'd be a bit creeped out, yes, but I wouldn't be pursuing it so far.
@@maddie8415 Also if someone passes away naturally and let's say they have the heater on their body decomposes a lot quicker. They will start to inflate and eventually pop in a matter of days. I had a person pass away and she was inside her 90 degree apartment for maybe 18 hrs and when I walked in their it smelled like she had been their for weeks.
Now these Airbnb stories are truly frightening, the poor girl being assaulted & that roach in the ear 😢😢😱😱. Real life is definitely more scary than any horror movie!
Hello, about the roach story, all patients who attend an ER in Greece must have blood and urine tests done, as well as a chest X-ray, regardless the reason for attendance. It's free of cost, too, in public hospitals. Hope that clarifies it.
Oh man, story 5, I was thinking, ok cockroaches are not agreeable, but that hardly warrants a big drama of a nightmare. Then you said ear infection, and I knew immediately what happened. I know a girl camping on Maui who had one go in her ear. It caused her a traumatic and painful experience.
The roach story forced me to remember when I got one stuck in my ear. The feeling of it scurrying in your ear is real and it sucks. Had to kill it by putting baby oil in my ear, killing it in a minute or 2. Then I still needed to wait hours for urgent care to open.
-legit almost threw up in the car from Story 5- I hate cockroaches. I have a cockroach phobia. That would have officially traumatized me and I would have needed a lot of therapy TwT These stories are amazing! Thank you for sharing them!
Relax into it..That seems too be this dudes trick if you listen to his live shows he makes loads off mistakes whilst reading but just goes with it and people love him, so don't worry about mistakes just be yourself n roll with it that would be my advice anyway, just as somebody looking in from the outside ..cheers 👍
When I was very young I had a horrid earache. We were camping so had to go to a doctor we didn't know. A spider had laid eggs in my ear. I don't remember a whole lot about it, except for the meds I had to take for a while afterwards. It's disgusting still to think about.
I rent my condo via airbnb and as much as I am hoping all guests are nice, I do get nightmare guests from time to time and you can't even think they would be as they have generally good ratings. I only accept guests that have fairly good ratings but even that is not an assurance they won't be a nightmare. I'm very particular with cleanliness and disinfectants so my condo is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every guests even before this pandemic happened. I expect the same when I rent an airbnb lol along with safety and security of the place as my condo is. Check the area and safety of the place before you book and the reviews, READ them as well as the host's page. It pays to always read first before you book.
😈 These were terrific stories to choose, special thanks to those that shared them. And in the creepy theme of this channel, the cockroach story is an absolute winner 🏆 but I was concerned as soon as I heard the other clinic did not flush out her ear ...that should have been part of basic medicine. And the guy that was an "expert" but didn't numb her, screw him too. Ma'am, I encourage you to sue. You have one of the best reasons to be traumatized I've ever heard of. OR If you made it up...good job! Go out there and give Stephen King a run for his money.
The roach thing. Omg. My dad used to think I was weird as a kid trying to sleep at his house when there were ladybugs all over the ceiling and I’d try to sleep with my fingers in my ears it has been my biggest fear for ages. I genuinely shivered in disgust/horror during that whole story
Another fantastic compilation! You are one of my faves, along with Mr Nightmare, Morris Media . Pretty sure you were the first I ever listened too. I suffer from BPD and struggle to sleep. But.. as soon as I hear your voice.. I am instantly chilled out.. so thank you! X
I mean, you can't just say that a property owner can't rent a place because someone else k!lled someone there. If it's been cleaned up and the danger is gone, then it doesn't really matter.
I feel bad for people who used this video to fall asleep to. Especially when story 5 was happening. I've heard some people who fell asleep to these actually have the stories implement inside their dreams. So to have that story happening in a dream, oh god.
I don't usually have much reaction to these types of stories, but that cockroach story messed me up. Like, had me jumping feeling my sheets on my skin.
The roach story was the worst for me. As somebody who grew up living in infested homes growing up that hit home. Yes one of them was horrendously infested with roaches. I just cringed the whole time because I knew already what the outcome would be, but still...
I’d recommend wearing ear plugs when sleeping. It’s usually to block out sounds that can cause unnecessarily waking up & disturbance. Looks like there’s another special function according to this story….🤦♀️ 🤦♂️ Also spraying bug killing spray around areas like rooms, including bedrooms, before settling down, as well as spraying or rubbing bug deterrent on yourself before bed, are good ideas, especially in unfamiliar as well as wild & rural places. For ear plugs I personally prefer the mouldable putty kind over the foam & plastic kinds because you can mould it’s shape to conform to your own ear canal while the foam & plastic kinds tends to push too much pressure against the ear canal walls after a while which can then be quite uncomfortable.
The opening on this one is my favorite opening I love when you use it and I listen to your stories EVERY night I never run out lol! Love LETS READ! Such an awesome discovery over three years ago now!
If people only knew how many houses, apartments, and hotel rooms people have died in. As a retired deputy coroner I drive by places every day thinking "I remember that case I wonder who lives there now".
If it wasn't just about money having therapy paid for giving the total compensation to more than 5k is not miserly, the couple saw the chance to get some cash, not some closure to a tough ordeal
Thanks for all you do. I appreciate your professionalism and integrity... the relaxation and distraction is the one thing that makes sleep a bit easier for me. So glad you exist.
Once I knew where Story 5 was going, I had to skip it. Those things are a legit phobia/worst nightmare of mine. I can't even say why without wanting to cry. I legit can not.
Oh my gosh. The poor girl with the roach nightmare!!!!! Roaches are one insect that actually scare the hell out of me and the thought of having one crawling around in my ear would seriously cuz me to have a nervous breakdown!!!!! Heebie jebbies big time 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I've only stayed at an airbnb once in Puerto Rico and it was fine which makes me feel thankful. But since then I've heard so many horror stories that I'm not comfortable booking any future stays through them. I'll be staying at a hotel.
No offense to those who like airbnb, but I would not choose to use their services. It simply is too risky. How can you be sure that the company thoroughly checked the owner? About roaches: years ago, when me and my partner did not have our own apartment, we stayed for about 7 months in a paid for small apartment. At first, nothing seemed wrong. However, roaches started invading our space, even the kitchen. As you might imagine, it was disgusting. One very early morning, I woke up and felt something on my cheek. It was still dark. Suddenly horrified and wide awake, I grabbed it and threw it on the floor. When I turned on the light, I saw a roach squirming acquiring on the floor. I felt nauseated and I think I scrubbed my face vigorously. It really affected me and I was dreading the idea that it might happen again. Obviously,I am so happy to have moved from that place.
Ear plugs... That's all I can say... If you're going to sleep in a strange place, plug your ears, bag the pillow, and use a sleeping bag... Just don't risk it. At all.
OMG the story about the AirBNB in Greece was BEYOND horrifying!!! I've got something of a phobia about roaches and I always think "what if some of them get in my LUGGAGE?" I can't even IMAGINE having one IN MY DAMN EAR!!!! That will probably disturb me to no end!! AND it was DRAWN OUT!! I say he or she should not only get a refund but some sort of compensation for the suffering!!
Heads up - you don't have to give any discounts if you don't want to. AirBnB strongly suggests it, but they can't "mandate" anything. You set your prices.
For the longest time I had no fkn idea what “Airbnb” meant but I didn’t want to ask so I just went without knowing until someone asked and I was like “OHHHHH”
Oh man.. The cockroach story got me. I used to live with an infestation so i know the horror... But I was ever so blessed not to have any go in my ear!!! >.< thats probably the most I've ever responded to a story lol
Story #3 I would've called the police asap. Story #4 Nicer than me because I am beating everyone with anything in that bedroom, will ask questions later. Story #6 She opened the door??!! Story #6 NOPE! Time to go! The first night incident is a HUGE RED FLAG!
I hate cucarachas! When I was a young adult I fell asleep at my moms house. She had cockroaches galore, I thought resting a little bit would be okay. So I wake up to a huge scratching sound and my ear starting feeling strange. The sound had stopped as soon as I got up and thought it was from outside, I also thought I had an earache so I payed my head back down. I was laying on the sofa with my eyes opened when I heard a huge scratching sound only then I realized it may be a cockroach eating my inside of my ear. I had no clue what to do! I did not want to squish it in my ear with a q-tip. I had to think quick because the cockroach was causing discomfort so I grabbed a bottle of hydrogen. Peroxide and put some in my ear, the flocker came out easily. Never took a nap again or ate at my moms house ever again.
Story 3 sounds like my life right now. I found out recently that a woman was killed by her boyfriend in our kitchen. Needless to say, weird sounds happen, sometimes it sounds as if someone is walking up our stairs, and sometimes it feels like someone is watching us. But because her presence doesn't feel evil, I'm not afraid.
That one couple are just being assholes. What do you want to happen to the house no one ever live in it again because someone died there. That's ridiculous
My friends, y’all need to triple check your stories before submitting them. Do you know how many times the word “little” was said in these stories? My teeth are grinding. Also, there are phrases I’ve noticed folks use in these stories to try to sound more sophisticated and it’s atrocious to the ears. Other than that, great job everyone.
How are peoples WORST fear a BUG in their ear?!?! There are stories about people being on the verge of death, and your biggest fear is a cockroach in your ear?! Lmao
19:10 If the owners got the property properly cleaned I don't see what the problem is. Just because someone was killed in there doesn't mean the place is now forever unusable.
And that fear folks is why I wear earbuds to bed even if I'm not listening to anything and if I don't have earplugs. Omg I'm cringing so hard and all hair is on end. You'd have to incapacitate me instantly!
Seems good a place as any to ask, I know what a BnB is, but how does the 'Air' part come in? Makes me think the place is out in the open, like you're staying in a field or something.
The roach one reminds me of when I had a small moth somehow fly into my ear. I didn't notice until I got home from a walk and felt an itch. Luckily it had already died and wasn't far in so nothing happened and pulling it out was easy. I flushed my ear out with peroxide just to be safe, but now I try to keep my ears covered when I'm outside haha
