FOR REAL. I was looking for a comment talking about this! I don’t know how he can expect anyone to have sympathy for him when he was so clearly in the wrong. These days it seems that it's controversial/anti-man to point out that sex is a far larger risk for women than men, namely due to the potential for pregnancy, which often puts the breaks on (or completely destroys) whatever a girl/woman's progress (never mind possible complications, possibly having to raise a child for at least 18 years alone [dude didn't even have a job], etc.). This guy clearly had no faith but thought it wise to date in a faith-based family, tried to push the girl to forget her beliefs (which likely would have gotten her pregnant b/c he seems someone selfish enough to forego contraception), pushed himself on them when they told him to stay away, and then beat up her brother. SMH He's a full-on narcissist, talking about HIS life being hell. "My life," "the media can tend to twist things," "I simply lost control of my temper," etc. Gross. He's talking about his side of the story? If his is this bad, I'd be eager to hear things from her perspective, because I strongly suspect he's leaving A LOT out!

Met several guys in my lifetime who wanted to "do it" and blamed the girl for getting upset when she refused, and especially if she said she was saving herself for marriage. But guys like that tend to act like they're the ones who've been wronger or robbed of something they REALLY wanted.

If she didn't left him, he would have become more and more abusive, probably pressured her into sex (which is rape) and/or become physically abusive, since he's clearly a violent man. Her brother and parents were protecting her because he's clearly a psycho.

If you were in a long term relationship or marriage wouldn't you expect sex as part of the package? (or expect the man to expect it if you are a woman?) I think if women withhold sex in a serious relationship or marriage they deserve to be chucked or divorced. I'm a girl and married and I believe my husband is entitled to sex. It's not really fair when women stop having regular sex as soon as they get married.. imo

You should do things because you want to, not because you're required. If you do things out of love that's fine but rape is never okay. And divorcing your partner because they don't always put out is selfish. Communication is key in a relationship. And those issues should be discussed. Regular sex is important to him, and he provides everything thats important to me, so we compromise :) I look at it like this - he doesn't particularly enjoy giving me a foot massage but I love it if I've been wearing heels all day so he does it to make me happy. Similarly I have sex with him because I want to make him happy. He works so hard that I was able to quit my job when we married and have not had to work since. Withholding sex can be valid grounds for divorce in some situations.. I understand if the wife has just had a baby or on operation etc but sex is a part of marriage. A friend of ours has been "depressed" for a year and a half and that was her reason for not having sex! Her husband didn't cheat on her, but he has moved out and she's a mess now. You're right, communication is important, we talked about expectations while we were dating because he has a far higher sex drive than I do and enjoys certain sex acts I have no interest in, but I do them out of love, like you say, rather than lust. If we only had sex when I initiated it, it would probably be once every other month! 🤣🤣🤣

@@itsruckaswife7036 I am Non Binary. I don't identify with either gender, but I don't mind male pronouns if people get confused, people will either assume I am a woman or a man. So I wear a pin to help. And when people see the pin they usually avoid pronouns. I don't like female pronouns at all. Permanent as far as I'm concerned. I hate female pronouns and I don't mind male but I prefer just They/Them. Most people do not understand being non binary. Toxic dudes get huffy or they laugh or roll they're eyes, and others try to be respectful but not all really get what being Non Binary is. Woman are a lot more respectful. I don't know if guys tend to find me confusing or threatening. I had top surgery so very flat chest. I could have a child in theory, not sure if it will happen but it could. I would say I'm demisexual but I find both genders equally attractive. But might also say pansexual/romantic because I find certain traits attractive or certaind ascetics attractive. But I'm definitely on the asexual spectrum. I think people should respect that there are Non Binary people out there who just don't find comfort in gender. I was never comfortable in my body or with my assigned gender. A lot of things have happened in my life, but I feel so much happier this way. I can say I finally feel comfortable in my own skin. I do have to correct people a lot but I'm okay with that. I'll fight for what I want always.

Though it may be difficult to understand, and without judgment as to whether her decision to not press charges was right or wrong, from a spiritual (not religious) place, she exercised compassion--not always an easy thing to do, but hopefully, after giving him the opportunity to cease and desist from his terrible behavior, he too, can move in & grow as a human, realizing that she granted him grace, rather than revenge.

I know right, it’s ridiculous how she didn’t file a report just because her ex is afraid of going to jail… I hope nothing ever happens again

You can turn a harmless person into a psycho by making them feel slighted. I agree that in non violent cases grace should be exercised before other options. If that fails go full scorched earth

@@user-oz1ny no, it's not arguably self defense. A dude in his car, at stop, with no weapon, dozens of feet from you is not a threat to your life, at all. Your not even allowed to shoot someone if they are walking away from you in most instances, that will get you a murder charge. She only got manslaughter because he previously tried to kidnap her and made threats, if it wasn't for that, she would have gotten murder 100%. The fact that she was charged at all proves the judge and jury didn't see it as self defense at all. People need to stop thinking self defense is super broad, it's not. Many people thought they were killing in self defense only to end up in prison on a murder charge. Self defense isn't as Grey as you think it is.

7 years isn't a bad trade off for knowing your loved ones are safe. police can't usually do anything until it's too late anyway, if they even try to help in the first place. still awful that she resorted to murder but i honestly don't blame her and she seems accepting of her punishment.

I agree and disagree. For all we know the guy could’ve caused severe permanent damage to that poor girls brother. I do not care for the guy, he lost my respect as soon as he started stalking/harrassing that family. But for the sake of others, I do hope he gets some help.

I have sympathy for that guy in the last story bcus not only did he apologize but the family didn't even forgive him & they hold a grudge🙄& angel brother (first attacked him when the guy came to only just visit harmlessly, mind you🙄 & wanted to hear her voice/see her & make amends & holding bitterness in their hearts is like drinking poison & expecting the other person to die & btw let's not forget about the fact that the family didn't even explain why angel couldn't get intimate with him🙄(which can be many reasons why she didn't want to be intimate) & she just cried without an explanation like wtf,🙄if the family was going to get all petty & do all of that then they could of at least give that guy an explanation as to why their mad🙄 & explain themselves their reason why they don't want her to get intimate until marriage (tho they never even said until marriage part in his story) if they're Christians then they of all people should understand that & explain their actions/beliefs to him (bcus not everyone is a Christian & understand that lifestyle about waiting til marriage🙄) so the family is truly in the wrong here not him, (except him lashing out on her) leaving him hanging in the dark, im just saying, at least he apologize but what did the family do, they actions said they hate him & don't forgive him & want him gone from her life because of a mistake that all humans make in life🙄, before showing no sympathy, at least walk in his shoes first before showing no sympathy & dont get me wrong, he did made a mistake of flipping out, but the thing is, some ppl probably would of flip out too if been in a relationship for a long time only to be turned down every time u try to get intimate, im just saying,🙄 (if their Christians then explain themselves so he'll no in advance if that's what he wants in a relationship to wait til marriage etc, I mean its not like he threw things in her house against/at the wall or body slammed her or punch her, or kidnapped her or forced her to get intimate then i can understand but this is just my opinion, but u can agree to disagree tho)

The jackass went full incel and exploded at a woman who wasn't down for being intimate (instead of, you know, sitting down with her and having a nonjudgmental discussion on her reasoning - maybe she wants to wait until marriage, maybe she's ace + sex repulsed, maybe she's been through some trauma, or maybe she was just not ready, who can say), and then violently assaulted her brother when he refused to let the creep see her. Angel ultimately dodged a bullet, and this fool squandered the opportunity for a potentially loving relationship with her (+ with her family, who seemed nice), and will possibly now have a record for assault, all because he decided to throw a tantrum over not getting his dick wet. No matter what happens after he turns himself in, he needs to seek therapy ASAP.
