Can you raise your sound levels higher considering your soothing smooth voice is really laidback? The pop up commercials are louder than you where I have to change volume when commercials pop up.
That's what I thought! This one seems real cause the cops acted like real cops. Not like in other stories where conveniently the cops tell you what happened lol when they normally don't.
I totally think that story is true and I'm so scared for that girl! any cop that simply wants to shame someone who's picked up a minor rather than charge them for it clearly doesn't want that person being involved any more than they've already been and for all we know that cop is buddies with her dad or the man who's holding her.... Sick!!
There are good cops out there. Choosing to label all cops bad because of a few rotten apples is equal to saying all black, white, people are bad because of the few that actually are.
Over here (uk) there’s a case of a police officer stopping a woman and arresting her under covid laws. TW she was then murdered, S.. assaulted them covered over and left in the woods
Right yes this teenage girl who ran away from home and hitchhiked should definitely be trusted over ADULTS who are working in law enforcement. Law enforcement that wear body cams, call in regularly to dispatch and have gps trackers in all of their vehicles. Your iq is super low bud, but nice edgy attempt. Youre super unique.
Wait wait. 1st story. The driver locked the truck, ran & got back in the locked truck, but had to rummage in pocket for keys to start truck? This sounds illogical.
Yeah i caught that to and i was like how on earth did he get out of his car lock it then run back to the car he said he swung the locked car door open got in and rummaged for his keys to start the truck. I was like wth?lol this is about as messed up as another story i heard on another video that said the guy was going to drink some weed and smoke some beer i was like lmao what the hell kind of talk is that and how do you smoke a beer that would be interesting to see but it would be more interesting to see him drink some weed lol 😄😄😄
Some cars and trucks have a feature where you can lock and unlock the door with a button on the handle, but only if you have the key with you. Others have a code on the handle that locks and unlocks it. It could be either of those
I live in WV and the whole state is not as poor as the first story made it seem, also there isn't a cracker barrel within almost 100 miles from me so that's also bs.
I live in Nevada and I've heard ridiculous things about my state in some of these stories too. One said everywhere in Nevada is 100+ degrees at all times and flat lol ummmm no where I live is mountains and snow and ski resorts and we rarely get to 100 degrees. And Nevada has mountains on all sides not flat at all. Not all cities in Nevada are Las Vegas hot.
Pippa Sage chicken fried steak is usually a cube steak breaded and deep fried like chicken, also usually covered with a white country gravy awesome with eggs over medium yes I’m a truck driver lol
" I know this drunk driver wasn't a vampire or a skin walker"... Lol... Drunk drivers kill countless people in real life, unlike made up fictional monsters, in other words I would be way more scared of a drunk driver
My boyfriend is in the room while this is playing and he said “I can see how you sleep to this. I haven’t listened to a word this man has said but I am so relaxed by the sound of his voice.” Thanks for chilling us out Joel 😂
With the drunk driver why not call 911? And if he kept crossing in front of you and braking why not pull over, pull into a crowded parking lot or something, and also call 911? Or just head to the police station if someone is following you
The brother sister story who were visiting their grand father, well I experienced a similar experience driving on NH India Bangalore to Hyderabad where a guy in a Jetta took upon his ego that me with a rather slow car over took his with the virtue of traffic jam. I was on the wheel when he started to break check us, drive v closely etc. I got my wife to record his stunt and call "100" equivalent to 911 or 999. The cops caught up on this surprisingly quickly, the guy was a jerk and I did tell him, if I was alone and this was my home city mumbai, it would not be cops who would be kicking his ass.
It’s so strange to hear about people having grandparents who were Vietnam vets. I must be the odd one out, bc my grandfather was a WWII and Korean War vet who was still active duty but too old to be called to war again during Vietnam. My uncle was the Vietnam vet. My poor grandmother was torn between being thrilled that my grandfather would be on another tour (since he had only recently returned from being stationed for a year in Goosebay, Labrador, Canada) and having her only son go off to war. My uncle made it back safely, but my grandmother ended up burying her husband in ‘12 and her son in ‘15, sadly, she herself passed a year ago this Nov 13th at 83.
My family is lucky it seems like each generation was just a little too young each time like my grandparents they were in their early teens when WWII was going on my father just missed Vietnam, my uncle would have been eligible but luckily for him he was a guest of the government at the time, and me and my brother were just about starting high school when the Iraq war was just starting
Sorry for your losses. I thank you family for all the sacrifices they’ve made for our nation. Even if they don’t die in combat, still the sacrifices they and their families make are unimaginable for us civilians. 🙏🏻 ❤😢🇺🇸
The first story reminds me of my grandma, she broke out of a nursing home, jumped in a guy’s car and had him drive her away... My stepmom moved over 400 miles to help take care of her until she passed away in her home near Sacramento, CA...
I am in 100% agreement with the truck driver using his truck as a weapon in 1st story! Otherwise, he would be dead! Dirtbags everywhere! If my only choice is to use my vehicle as a weapon or get shot, I'm running someone down! I'm happy the police saw it his way!
That sheep in the second story is so disgusting idiotic. He should've questioned things more, gotten more people involved. He could've genuinely stumbled across a police scandel where the police were on that family's pay roll and dragged that girl back to her abusive family. The fact that the police didn't bring in for anything shows that they wanted to keep this hush hush. Such a sheep of a human. Coward.
So you pick up a young girl running away from home who is terrified to go back and who actually shows you scars from what looks like years of abuse and you say that you hope she got the treatment that she needs? Wtf goes on for people. I would rather - MUCH RATHER - believe a stranger when they tell me that they are being hurt or abused (unless I have real legitimate reasons not to believe them) and help them if I can, especially if it seems that no one else is doing anything to help them. Sad sad world that we live in these days, people walking around brainwashed zombies - and not LIKE brainwashed zombies.
Totally agree. I get, in that situation surrounded by cops what could he do but 'nothing' isn't the answer He could have questioned them, stalled, asked her address before she got out and made sure it was looked into afterwards ABOVE those cops. If it was me and I had her address I'd go detective then break in and save her. Always be the voice for those that don't have one
What should he have done smart ass?? her the cop to chase after him and maybe be swing as a pedophile because he has a young girl with him???? He could have be in serious trouble and end up in jail...So, instead of criticizing a situation you know nothing about ,tell us what you would have done, in this situation, because we are dying to know... 🤦🏼♀️
Got so many stories to tell, somehow I gotta put them into words which is the hard part. Stay safe everyone, its better listening to scary stories then being part of one!
story #3 was funny. Human bones aren’t illegal to have, and honestly if some guy did some magic to help me get to my destination on time I would be forever grateful
why not? He can be as paranoid as he wants, this world is fucked up enough, and it's HIS car, he can do what he wants. Better be too paranoid then to naive...
@@melodiechartier5173 It's ridiculous to pick up a hitchhiker if you're that paranoid. He's explaining all the reasons he's not enough of an idiot to pick up a hitchhiker, then he picks her up anyway.
I’ve had a similar experience to the last one. On our way home, this truck in front of us had huge sheets of metal the size of overhead Highway signs and they came loose and went flying. God was it terrifying as it barely missed our windshield, and luckily only scraped the bottom of our car
6:07 wouldn't you have used the keys already to unlock the truck as you ran back to it? Why would they be in your pocket and you having to rummage around to find them? Hmm. Maybe I am overthinking :)
The problem with the drunk driver is they didn't call the cops right away... that's how they get away with it PLEASE CALL THE COPS IMMEDIATELY if you know there is a drunk driver on the road
About the drunk driver, its amazing how stupid the writer was. What about calling the police, nevermind taking down a number?! The gall of the man, hoping that the drunk driver didnt cause a wreck! Right!! I hope he was crossing his fingers. It will be just as helpful as, not calling the police, or taking down the reg of the car!! Made me really angry!! Idiot! Stella
The story about the human jaw bone freaking that driver out literally has me perplexed. Like if someone handed me a human jawbone knife I would excited. I like weird death related and Voodoo stuff. Like hearing him how terrifying he is of holding a bone, and here I am having held human organs at job fairs and Bio class.
Have you actually been to Kentucky or Tennessee? Stereotypical assumptions of a place youve never been to, apparently, to make up a story for likes and views. 😡
For the third story, I think I know where the guy got the jawbone for the jawbone knife: someone didn't want to do the ritual... for the fourth story, Dr Dre's 2001 is an all-time banger that everyone should bump
First story is the same one i heard from the last highway vol 1 are they all the same , are there different stories. it might as well be called highway stories vol 1 again
...You have NO IDEA how long I have been waiting for one of the characters in one of these narration stories the be confronted with bad people who ominously surround their vehicle, refusing to let them leave ---- and then ---- they get the guts to put their vehicle in drive and run right over their menacing @sses!!! YEAH!!! ...That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! YES!!!
Deadly Unicorn I love your username lol I was anticipating it too. I think that makes the story even worse. Along with knowing children are used as weapons of war globally. So completely sad.
Hang on how did the truck driver pull over and call the cops when he said his phone was dead and his charger wasnt working?? He doesnt say he pulls up when he finds a phone box so thats another weird bit to the story
In the first story the coal mining was mainly around West Virginia, like red jacket, the average income per year is below 25k for the majority of red jacket citizens. Just heard him say it was in West Virginia lol.
Are the authors listed anywhere? The readings are nice, but it's a lot easier to read a story than it is to write one. It would be good to see whose creativity is involved in making these.
I love the intro to your videos at what part of that song that you've mentioned before does the intro come in? As I could listen to it all day ( in headphones) 😀 love the channel keep up the brilliant videos 😄
I'm from West Virginia, live 30 minutes from WVU where did this happen? That doesn't sound like us at all? We are usually very welcoming?! I'm embarrassed and ashamed
Yea me to Preston county here.. I understand I'm not everybody but it's just crazy to hear this because people from all over the country come here and say how nice WE are here how WE are so welcoming how WE make everyone feel so at home. Just shocked me when he said he was in West Virginia when this happened.
When I was listening to the first story all I could think was they’re a bunch of idiots for surrounding the truck cause my first thought was I am going to murder ever single one of them and if I miss I will follow them till I run them over then back up then go over them again just to be sure. So when he said that’s what he did I got so happy and excited that I actually yelled out of excitement in my car
Story 1 is fraudulent. As a truck driver you are taught not to compromise your timing so him passing other restaurants for one way out of the way would be non compliant especially since he was hungry. Then all of a sudden his phone starts working after being dead.
Story 3 is bullshit. How do you make a knife handle out of the curved jaw of a human? Think about it, how would you hold a human jaw, where would you put the blade?
I had a car pull beside me and my wife as we was going down the highway the passenger started yelling at my wife I'm driving he is right beside me I had a pellet pistol the kind with CO2 cartridges well I shot him right in the face they were young boys but that taught them to leave other men's wife alone they way he screamed when I shot him lol that was funny as hell
