Just some ways I think making my bike look pro are: - Short stem, matching other component colours or just safe black - Slammed seat. Looks sick in my opinion anyway 🤷

I don't know why people are obsessed with lining up the logos, as long as the tread is going the right direction I don't care, and I've got green valves so can easily see them.

I use small cable ties to hold cables together but I fit small plastic washers between the cables to provide some seperation. Effectivly you get a similar fit to the specific bike cable components that can be bought, they are easy to fit and remove if nessacary. Shrink wrapping cables is an enourmous faff and is a real PIA when you come to service your stealth dropper and you have no free able to work with 😞. You will get the same problem with electrical tape, which though easier to replace leaves a sticky mess on the cables you are working with.

i put a master link (wrapped in tape, so it wont make noise) in my bars, so if my chain breaks, i can fix it. i also wrap my seat post with some electrical tape, so if a cable breaks, i can secure it, so it wont end up in my wheels, so i can keep riding

As important as it is to keep your suspension and shifting dialed in, obsessive brake maintenance also makes a bike feel race ready on every ride. From making sure that the levers are always at the right distance, to cleaning your rotors with alcohol after every ride...
@ieazoa3770
@ieazoa3770 Год назад
Eh, sorry mate but you are giving out crap advice. Brake pads bite better onto rotors which have had some pad material deposited on them, not onto clean rotors as you suggest.
@j.albertogratacos2076
@j.albertogratacos2076 Год назад
@@ieazoa3770 I heard that one before and I have I've tested both. Apparently, the accumulated black dust serves as a lubricant. When the rotor is squeaky clean, the clean, warm metal against the pad provides the best stopping friction and will immediately start getting the black dust. The point is, you will get your dust, particles, but at the end of the ride. You will have too much.
@phenax1144
@phenax1144 Год назад
@@j.albertogratacos2076 I am sorry but what you are saying makes no sense the material used in a brake pad does not become a lubricant once it gets on the disc.
@j.albertogratacos2076
@j.albertogratacos2076 Год назад
@@phenax1144 if you let it sit over and over it cretes a layer that has less friction than metal to pad.

@5:40........DO NOT groove your handle bars, seat posts or anything...........creates a stress riser and can lead to failure!!!!!!!!

Should be fine on an aluminium bar though. Talking about carbon fibre, you might me right.

@poguemahone5476 Год назад
Scratching the paint or anodising on metal bars with an o-ring pick should be fine, just don't put actual grooves in them. Wouldn't do it on carbon though. Just use a paint pen there.

Quick question my tire got punctured by glass shards and the hole is like 5mm long is it still safe to ride on?
@sendyboiii7

as long as it holds air why not

use a tyre boot kit - or regular puncture patch kit on the inside of the tyre to cover the hole

Love the bike design ru-vid.comUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube.All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.

almost every time my friends randomly hop on my bike or take it off the shuttle rig etc, they always say it feels so dialed and then i hop on their bike and I am just vomiting at how terrible some people are at taking care of their bikes. Yes, it is a tool that can withstand a lot of abuse and lets you have fun in the woods every single day without complaining but god damn... the screaming coming form their bike's chain, bearings, suspension is just insanity. I dont understand how they even feel okay riding a bike that has every creak known to mankind. i just lube my chain every few rides, set my tires to the correct psi(tubeless tires often leak air very slowly), check suspension pressure and maybe settings and just make sure there are no NEW rattles. it's not that difficult. just take care of your damn bikes and you will have a happy bike for much much much longer

if you want to look pro, just use something to cover up your supension so nobody knows what you have, or remove logos from parts so youre using mystery parts lol

More silly reasons to spend your money into the bike industry, better spend them on riding clinics and courses that will make you ride like a pro and not just look like one.
