For the first official quick tip I will be showing you how to move the 3d cursor in blender. The 3d cursor is really quite useful so hopefully this is helpful. Links Etsy Shop➢ dragon3dshop.e... Patreon➢ www.patreon.co... Enjoy :D
[Subscribed, Thumbs-up] - Yes! Thanks for the easy & quick tutorial on moving the 3D cursor (I ended up using the "N" - view and typing it back to the 0,0,0 coordinates, I know, not your favorite method). Now if I only knew what to use it for, LOL. I'm a Blender Pleb for sure. BTW, I'm using Blender to create stl's for 3d printing.
are you freaking serious, kid? I've been searching all over RU-vid and FINALLY someone who knows how to relay correct advice quickly. thank you so much! this was driving me nuts! also, keep up the awesome work!
@@bubblesbutternuts694 I just typed how to disable 3d cursor and got this video fixed in under 2 minutes I just have to identify your problem sorry for the lack of grammeri am learning english
In option 5, you are correct that it is a "manual" process. However, if you want the cursor to be precisely at (x=1.25, y=3.375, z=4.5) , That is the only way to do it. So it takes me an extra 12 seconds. I can live with that. :-)
HI, extremely useful sometimes when using method 1 you can drag it (learned that from your vid thx) but you can also press X, Y or Z or shift-X, shift-Y or shift-Z to confine to an axis.
Shift + C is a game changer! I hated when accidentaly move the cursor and had to search for a simple video that tells me how to reset the location and ends up doing many useless steps.
Wow. didn't think videos like this existed. Because usually it goes like: Life story....... Life story...... Life story...... Life story...... ...content.
How do I get the cursor to stop following me every time I click the cursor follows mean it won’t let me click on any stuff. Can I turn that off? I’m in blender 2.79
how do you move, scale , and rotate without using blender shitty default funtions but instead using the axis cursor... is there a way to make that my default.. for example eveytime I hit the "G" I want the axis cursor to appear and be my move axis tool instead.. thank you. cheers
video is straightforward moving 3d cursor is not. Programmers who wrote the 3d cursor mechanics needs a designer to teach them the smart and simple way : Just copy Maya UI
