I would love to see: repurposing highlights, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, or a full face of products in the "wrong" place. I love thinking of multiple ways to use products so I can use more of my cosmetic bag for brushes and less of it for a million products. Ooh, I would really love to see a brush video, too! I love content that is all about using what I already own in different ways, can you tell?
I do that too.... I have oily skin and in summer it's completely unbearable..... I use a big fluffy brush to set my sunscreen and around the nose area I use a blender...
Yes to making this a series! It's nice to watch creators who are conscious about their consumption whether it be makeup or other products. I like watching declutters but cringe when the makeup is casually tossed away or followed up with a haul video.
I’ve been loving these videos so much! I’d love it if you did lipsticks next. They’re so easy to accumulate but so hard to pan. My large stash would appreciate it 😂💖
I have „only“ 2 powders (laura mercier translucent and Milk setting powder) for people who dont like to use powder every day, 2 powders are too many. I have them for almost 3 years, and they are still full 😅.
Powder is the one product I go through a couple a year. The only time they don't get used up is if they're just way off shade wise. But if it's too dark I'll try it as bronzer or contour, brightener or highlight if it's too light..
I love the idea of using powder to lighten bronzers. I am so so pale that often even the lightest shade of a bronzer is too dark for me (I often just use a slightly darker powder foundation as bronzer as I have quite a few powders that are too dark for me even though they are the lightest shade available), but I haven’t tried mixing some powder with a bronzer before.
I made a fracken lipstick from 2 tarte lipsticks. I loved the formula but not the colours, 1 too light ,1 too dark , they came in a holiday set . The combination of the 2 together was great shade. Love it. Please make this a series. I could certainly use some ideas for how to use products I’m neglecting!
Absolutely agree with what you said about trying to use what we bought first than just decluttering if it's not working out! Also, last tip of using dense brush for more coverage as powder foundation is my fav and being a mua I do it a lot on my clients on areas which need little more coverage or need more powder than rest of face like T-zone✨
LOVE this video and I’m looking forward to this series! I almost decluttered a lot of my makeup but then I found out about frankening. I love repressing makeup and making something I love out of things I don’t enjoy on their own. Currently panning a franken blush. It was way to pigmented originally so I mixed a face powder with it and now it’s my favorite blush.
I'm currently panning a franken lipstick and using it for lips and cheeks, also repurposing a retractable brow pencil (too thick and not really sharpenable) as a brown smudgy eyeliner. Have you tried setting powder/face powder used as a dry shampoo? Or what about mixing a powder highlighter with setting powder/face powder to diffuse onto chest and shoulders? Thoughts?
I have a too faced chocolate bon bon palette and the BH take me to brazil palette and for the life of me i cant get myself to make much progress at all bc of how much I dislike their formula so i scarped out eyeshadows into an empty blush pan and used a pressed face powder to lighten it and as you would guess, I used them a fraken blushes and got an enormous use out of those palettes I would otherwise never touch
Could you do this video idea on primers? I have the elf hydrating primer that is super dimethicone heavy and I don’t like how it looks/feels all over the face but I’d still like to use up the product
I definitely hope you turn this into a series! I have decluttered so many products in the past and severely regret it. 😫 I have spent so much money on makeup and never thought to repurpose my products!
Thanks for the tips! I have 3 pressed powders and 1 loose, and that’s too many for me as I don’t really use much powder. I finished off a mini last month using it up as powder foundation, and I’m hoping to hit pan on another powder this year. I’m going to try to remember to multi task with them like you suggest! 👍🏻
I've used powder as dry shampoo, but it would work better on those with light hair (it took a little work to even out on dark hair). I'd love to hear some unconventional highlight uses! Also, this glam look is 🤩.
Great video! I'm all about one and done eye looks and powder foundation cleans up the edges without adding colour. Also, inspired by your franken-bronzer, I combined all the pressed powders where the shade was off. The new shade actually works and now I actually use it. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you very much for the tips, Sarah! 🙆♀️ I seriously want to use up all of my powders because I want to purchase another one. I cannot buy a new one now or else I will neglect the old ones. I have to control myself from buying new makeup this year because I bought too many products but I end up not using them at all.
@@SarahRoseBeauty I especially like the one with lips 💋 tapping a bit of powder or eyeshadow makes it smudge and transfer less, become more matt and longwearing. I also experiment with different colors and shimmers 🥰
I'm trying to pan a behemoth of a loose powder product (it contains 25 grams 🥵) so this was such a great video! Definitely gonna try that tinted moisturizer trick
How did you know I had a pressed powder sitting around that I don’t use 😫 I don’t wear foundation, and have normal skin. So I don’t need it. I’m so excited to learn how to use it up
@@SarahRoseBeauty so helpful! I have a bronzer that’s too dark and glittery for me (L’Oréal lumi bronzer in medium) sadly this shade has gold glitters. The powder I have is Rimmel Stay Matte. I’m going to try that powder trick with the bronzer! To make it lighter
