Your hair is gorgeous. I relaxed after 8 weeks followed by a protein treatment and deep conditioner. My hair turned out shiny and healthy.

Use some products that help. I don’t have a short cut i see most people will mold with a good foam and then before flat ironing they will apply a gloss

When you use a lye relaxer, you get better results when you rinse relaxer out, condition then use the neutralising shampoo

Hello Carol. So after I leave the relaxer in for the allotted time, rinse it and then apply conditioner? AFTER the conditioner, wash out with shampoo? 🤔 Isn’t it shampoo first to get rid of all trace of relaxer?

@@His_ChristieRose hey Christie, yes rinse out relaxer thoroughly with water, then apply conditioner on wet hair, like a mild protein one like aphoghee keratin 2 mins reconstructer, comb through ,rinse, then use neutralizing shampoo

Roxy, I enjoy watching your videos and I love your pixie cut because I love to rock mine at 48 yrs old. Like you, I do my own hair most of the time as well except cutting. Lol, can't seem to get up the nerve to do that yet. I use the Mizani Butter Blend for sensitive scalp relaxer from my local beauty supply store. It makes my hair shiny, soft, and straight. They do have other strengths as well. So if you haven't try it yet and you are looking for another relaxer maybe you should try the Mizani relaxer. Take care & stay safe. Yes😁, I already got that haircut!!
