Thailand is nice, but the hassles with the visa every 30 days are RIDICULOUS. GOTTA LEAVE AFTER ONLY 60 DAYS??? WTF? The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

I can't believe it's been one year since I got back from Thailand. I'm hoping to go back there by October of this year. I remember watching all your videos before I ever went there and it was nothing but a dream. The spring of last year 2023 I finally was able to make it out there. I haven't watched your videos in a while Richie Mack. By the way I ended up overstaying my Visa but I had a good reason. When I was in Thailand last year I ended up getting covid. I paid the fine add for the extension to stay until I was cleared of covid. I tested positive for covid the day that I was trying to leave originally. Japan Airlines wouldn't let me on the plane so I had no choice. It was a rough situation. I stayed over for 12 days. Then my Thai girlfriend and I went to Immigration and I paid the fines and visa extension fee. They understood that I had covid and couldn't get on the plane. Because of Covid I actually was in Thailand a month past my original leave date

Thats an amazing story! Yeah, they were very laxed during the Covid times. That's how I ended up staying for almost 2 years. My youtube friend and brother, I'm happy to see your bang up video. I was looking at photos yesterday of me and the Mrs. in Bangkok and the great Casa Vimaya Riverside Hotel we stayed at on the Canal with a Canal view. It was so freaking nice, I was having Thailand withdrawal pains.😂😂😂 For those brothers and sisters overstaying their visa because they don't want to follow the rules will get a Thailand Visa Free stay at the local prison for 3-5 yrs. If they wanted to overstay their visit in Thailand, the government will oblige them with a 3-5 visa pass in prison. Hey, you're still in Thailand, right?😂😂 And it's Free too! Follow the rules peeps!

You don’t need a round trip ticket I’ve been on about 16 flights in and out of Thailand this year back n forth and NEVER needed round trip ticket … just came back from 3 day Vegas trip yesterday and didn’t need round trip ticket to get back in Thailand

Instead, countries require what's known as "proof of onward travel", which COULD be a round-trip ticket, but could also be in the form of a plane, train, bus, or ferry ticket to some other country. To paraphrase a popular saying, the policy upon entry is, "you don't gotta go home, but you've got to provide documents that show you're gonna get the hell outta here before the end of your approved stay."
