Michael at the beginning: "Ok, Alfredo, tell us about this game." Michael 12 seconds into playing: "Unsubscribe now, this is the only thing I'm interested in playing for the next decade."
Gerold Cooper ...my god. You weren’t kidding. I thought it would be maybe a post or two. Nope! It’s a LOT more than that. But you know what? I’m happy for him. It’s so rare to instantly fall in love with a video game. It’s precious.
I loved hearing Michael so giddy and excited with playing the game. He should have face cam next game! Please put this game into your rotation, I'd love more of this
Since this LP. Michael and Fredo have both become absolute pros at this on their Twitch channels. Playing together with Jacky and Meg as well making a power team. Getting close to 30 wins between them in just 3 days.
Seeing Michael instantly falling in love knowing that within the last week him, Alfredo, Jackie, and Turney have clocked in more than 30 hours in this game is hilarious
I've asked people this multiple times throughout the years I've been on this Earth and had it explained in many ways, and I still have no idea what an offside is.
@@Xackadee Well, in racing at photofinish wons who cross the line first. In soccer is offside who crosses the imaginary line, being the line the defenders.
@@VictorFernandes8 The grammar was a little clumsy and yet this comment still probably gave me the best understanding of an offside that I have ever had.
Xackadee (X’s goalie) O -----X---- X X. X. X X. O. O. O O. O The X next to all the hyphens represents the guy in the very back of the defense. This is where the imaginary line is drawn. Notice how there is one O past this line. If one of the other O’s passes the ball to the O behind the imaginary line that O is considered offsides. Essentially you’re not allowed to pass the ball to a player who is beyond his opposition’s backline of defense.
Love seeing michaels love for this game grow out of order- he’s raving over it on the podcast and actually streamed on twitch for the first time in probably almost a year to play this with Alfredo but in this video he’s not so sure lol
@@tylerm8371 He doesn't work at RT anymore. He left on friendly terms to take his family and move to Europe, so he could pursue his other life goals. Although he did say that he'd be willing to offer up some creative input if they ever needed help, so maybe he could still be involved somehow.
@@AstralMuffin105 oh wow I didn't know that. I've watched RT since 2008-2009, though much less over the past few years. Good for him for doing his thing, he's a real inspiration. Also makes me wonder if he's seen a decline in RT and got out before it kinda falls apart.
The seesaw is a perfect example of the crab bucket effect. Any one person could get across that course easily enough (as is seen when you're in the top positions), but because everybody wants to be qualify (because why wouldn't you), everybody else actively undermines one another, ensuring that almost nobody actually makes it out.
@@lucasng4712 Those aren't mutually exclusive. You can be undermining one another because you want to get out/qualify, which is what happens in the seesaw. Nobody really cooperates, because nobody wants to risk being eliminated.
I don't know if the crab bucket effect makes the seesaw event the worst or the BEST event in the game. I guess it's the worst from a balance perspective since starting in front in such a huge deal since you don't have to deal with everyone else screwing the seesaws up. But it's also just SO GREAT to watch a bunch of idiots only make things harder for themselves. Maybe seesaws would be better in a co-op Takeshi's Castle-like event where the objective is to get as many people through as possible in order to have enough bodies to throw at a final boss or something.
The sheer joy these guys felt while playing this game is so wholesome. I was smiling for pretty much the entire video. And Alfredo’s excitement at winning was awesome!
I really hope they do a Let's Play with everyone. Imagine Jeremy, Ryan, Gavin, Michael, Matt, Lindsay, Trevor, Alfredo and Fiona all playing this. It would be amazing.
I have never seen the boys this happy ever this was incredibly fun! 😂😂 congrats Fredo!! So well deserved!! I can’t wait to see you guys play this again soon!!
@@randomstuff9005 @ö @apatheticAnxiety If I called it by it's actual name, every American in the world would argue that they're always cheering over football.
This is probably the greatest thing that has happened in 2020. Fredo's joy, Gavin being Gavin. I've watched this a few times, just brings joy to my soul. Thank you so much for this
Alfredo at the end, so loud! (34:07 - lol) He was so happy! Congrats! [Cheers!] I feel bad for Jack, died too early (and quickly). A Game that Michael enjoys, nice to know he'll return. And Gavin! What a surprise! He did well in this type of Royal!
I've been watching Michael and Alfredo streaming this and loving it, but this was special. Seeing Michael's first time with it, and just how immediately he realized it was like everything he wanted was beautiful
DON'T! GET! ELIMINATED! This is basically Most Extreme Elimination Challenge: The Video Game! I really want AH to present a lets play like MXC, having someone play Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano for commentary, and have Guy LeDouche interview contestants with bad dubbing, odd professions/hobbies.
Why does this game seem so easy for them? I do a lot of runs where I won't hit a single obstacle and I'll barely finish in the top 80%, but these guys are getting top 5 so consistently.
As bad as they can be sometimes, they have been gaming as their jobs for years. Also the molasses physics of gang beasts probably helps with those little muppet-y dudes
The game genuinely just comes naturally to some. I won my first game and blew my twin away! Now I’m up over 50 and it’s still the same thrill as the first 🙏🏽
Absolutely epic way to end the vid, it got so intense. Hilarious to hear Alfredo basically scream with happiness. So glad everyone really enjoyed the game, I’ll definitely watch the future vids of this
