I think they asked good questions plus some lighthearted and funny ones, which lends a nice personal feel to the whole thing. a good interview is not just answering the important questions, is also about getting to know the people. also what exactly do you think are the "important questions"? because theres things they definitely couldn't answer.

DLC weapons and armor come to mind. Such as what collaborations have been made. Whether we'll see any monsters from Frontier...

Yeah i think they would like to keep dlc a surprise until its announced. its common sense. and i'm pretty sure if there's any frontier monsters it would have to be lavasioth or hypnocatrice, otherwise not happening. so is that it? those are the important questions?

Well you can, but it's just not a practical weapon for solo hunting, especially against fast and powerful monsters. You'll be lucky to get a hit in. That's why I main the SnS. It's the weakest weapon of them all, but it's mobility and utility makes up for it

People just see it as a buff weapon and dont realize hust how good the hunting horn is. You can dish out incredible damage and stuns, and it's moveset really lets you target specific parts easily. Thats not something i can say about a lot of other weapons.

Arcyne I'm sure there's going to be change but, the hunting horns dps is the worst by far

if you own a 3ds, you can download the monster hunter 4, AND monster hunter generations demos for free on the app store, and just go nuts getting a feel for what the combat is like.

I didnt like it either. I think tracking the monster is part of the hunt, like using paintball. How do you know you can turn it off??

João Luccas Emygdio picking up traces left by the monster will cause the scout flies to lead you to other traces and eventually track it down as they level up. If you really want to you can neglect picking up these traces and look for the monster by running round yourself however this is not recommended as the maps are huge now. It's basically like a paintball to be honest, you can choose not to use it and try and track the monster yourself but it would have been easier in the older games with their smaller sectioned off areas.

You can turn them off entirely(for tracking the monster that is, not sure about other parts like the research side of things), this has already been confirmed by the same guys above.

Scoutflies are the new paintball. It's a means to actually track the monster instead of finding it and painting it.

I miss paintballs, it was a pain but it was always the first thing you'd do to start a fight. Just feels to so ingrained in me

Depends how far you go back because in the 1st and 2nd gen it was hard(really short window). Haven't played any of the ones on Nintendo tho.

i mostly played MonHun Tri on the wii; the cooking time was so long that I hated doing it. so tedius to sit there and burn through (sometimes literally) 10 raw beef when i want to go stab things with my spear instead.
