60 second breakdown no hot water vaillant turbomax

Attended a vaillant turbomax with no hot water, after opening a hot tap found the boiler isn’t even registering a demand, manually override the micro switch and boiler fires so we now know the diverter valve needs replacing.
Swap it over, re pressurise the boiler and check operation, happy days 🔥

Hi, would this be the cause of my mixer bar shower not firing?. All the taps are fine as in hot water on demand. Ive changed the shower mixer, hose and head but still same, no hot. This has happened over a few weeks. Also, if i remove the shower head i get hot water. Any advice greatly received.

There was restricted access under the boiler as it’s too close to the worktop so was easier to replace the whole valve

i freaking hate those boilers.... So stupid... Like.. Lights up, starts heating.... strage boiling noize, stops working, 'sand clock' dione starts blinking... water pump making - noizes, but getting hot..
