Yoooo.... I was hoping to see some interviews with the local 2nd or 3rd generation Chinese living in the UK and how they feel about their identity and the inclusiveness of the UK society....
Hispanic in Hong Kong. Man I love everything you filmed, specially the interview and footage of the Chinese girl, her physique and porcelain like skin is something Westerners really adore, in Spanish we call it : Muñeca de biscuit. It might not look like a big deal in Asia due to having different standards from the West, however, after reading some of very "polite" people in comments that are shocked that she is a model, it shocked me at first, but then I remembered what you said, that sometimes we need to stand on the other (Westerners) shoes and try to see things the way they see things. Thats is so true! Thanks to you and to GG for the enlightening video, I am sharing it to all my HK local friends. This video pops up right in the right moment when many of my local HK friends are planning (some of them already did) on moving to UK , even though they have no family there, they themselves have also never been there, neither speak english . Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, she has good physique and skin that Chinese would also value. Her face has a more classical look - like something you'd see in historical paintings of old. She looks like a runway model or editorial model.
The old building is the Peveril of the Peak, a very famous pub that is sometimes called the toilet because of the tiles on the outside of the building.
I guess it was really tough back then, when I was in the UK in 2010. I can make 10 pounds an hour easily already. it's difficult to imagine how it was 60 years ago.
Recently I heard from many that the UK crime situation is serious, people have their home break in and so, what’s your feeling about that? (Others are welcome to input as well)
Not a bad short clip at all … glad you did spend a few minutes on the old couple .. amazing to hear them flying over back in the days … working in Chinatown .. Guess I was much more fortunate to fly over to the US back in 1974 .. going college there and the rest was history .. 7 pounds a week .. sort of reminding me working in summer job in factory when I was in secondary school in HK .. earning $8HK per 8 hours shift .. alternating between afternoon (3-11) and graveyard shift (11pm-7am) .. the lady model seems to have the prototype Asian look and height .. Manchester’s rent seems to be expensive .. lots of HKers there these days
