Hi, I just found your channel today and love your videos. My Dad was born n raised in Logan, W VA ( all our relatives are still there) and loved driving thru the Smokie Mountains so much. I would love (and would give just about anything) to live near the mountains anywhere from WVV to East Tennessee someday. It would be a dream come true. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of that beautiful place- the Appalachians that I dearly love. (Im 62 and hope I make it there before I die.)

I sure would like to have that one American Cherry Tree I saw laying. I used to grade kiln dried hardwood flooring for Zickgraph in Franklin, NC. A couple of ridges over on the NC side. That Cherry makes some pretty stuff, especially flooring 🥰 Hate to see all those trees down.

We were there on the Saturday after the storm. It was quite impressive the number of downed trees. More impressive the amount of work done in such a short period of time to open the park back up to visitors. Thanks for the video.

y'all know that's one of our favorite places in the smokeys and each time we go, there are more and more trees down the park service has the equipment and if they don't arrangements could be made with outside sources to remove the trash and fallen trees next to the roadway , as of last week everything was just pushed and cut out of the road. it looks like a war zone in places . i understand about leaving some brush for habitat but you dont have to leave it all and especially piled up beside the road. the tree root balls could be dangerous after a heavy rain just push them back over... enough of my rant great video

Whatever y’all had in the jeep that horse was digging it!! That’s all some good wood right there for a bonfire. It’s crazy how much dirt those root systems unearth when they are pulled over like that.

sad so many trees fell but when they rot the bears feed on the bugs and they create habitation for small animals so at least they is a good outcome from the wind storm

Heya Smoky Mountain Family. Probably not the right place to ask this but... Wondering if you have suggestions on tattoo shops in the area. Have you had any of yours done in Tennessee? A video review of the local tattoo shops would be fun to watch 😊

Hey Jeff. We continue to use our home shop in Cincinnati, Ohio- Doll Star Tattoo. Our artist is the owner of the shop, J.J. Osman. Every bit of ink we have has been administered by J.J. So unfortunately we haven't had any experience with the local shops. That would be a cool idea for a video tho. Thanks so much for watching and for the suggestion!
