I got one since a year, a red V6, 137,000 km, finnish body as it seems, very little rust found up to now. New wheels (had 1995 tires on a 1994 car, now it's 205 16 inch wheels), new alternator, new air conditioning compressor and cooler, in 2 days he will get a new exhaust. New brakes sometimes, maybe 30mm lower and stiffer shock absorbers. Plus tiny optical gimmicks. But the car is so original that it would somehow be wrong to totally rebuild it. Apparently it stood around for over 10 years, the maintenance record, a sticker on the body and the odometer say the next inspection was sue 2011 at a mileage higher than what the car had. I would have preferred him in white, I freely admit.

I’m started a Calibra build in Barbados. Genuine parts are so hard to find but I am powering through. The Calibra was such an amazing car !

This Calibra has a modified Opel C20LET, modified Opel F28 Gearbox, modified Opel Visco AWD Transmission and much Opel Parts. This Calibra isn't Engine Swap or other Drive Swap's!

@@XTCFinal05 TRANSLATED for everyone: Modified c20let is AS I SAID.. opel BLOCK (bottom plate added.. so not even that subassembly ISN'T made by opel 100%), catcams camshafts, ferrea valves, wiseco pistons, pauter conrods, arp all around, diesel crankshaft... So.. it's almost a opel BLOCK and a crankshaft there 🤣 Then about gearbox, f28 CAN'T be midified to hold over 600NM, and that visco.. i think you're joking.. can't handle not even 100nm (from all @300nm stock engine as i remeber) in stock version, then if you tighten that visco at max, hardly will be able to resist few launches at 200nm at rear axle (about 500nm at engine)

And its like this for over 100 years...... not all Renault engines for example are 100% made by them, either is 50 - 50 with others, 80 - 20 (percentage) or whatver or how others just modified them a bit like how Mercedes did for some of their cars. Anyway.... almost all Mercedes cars use Renault//Nissan/Mitshubishi engines, Renault engines are put in Dacia cars as well as in Mercedes and their own and we all know what is said about Dacia cars in general and what about Mercedes cars (general uninformed public). Its not because Mercedes is monkeying around its customers, its because the engines are proved to be good and reliable even for sport/races, thats why they are offsourcing it to others to save on R&D and whatever but "stupid fanboys" raged because they used Renault engines in their A and C series of cars, especially C (not all of their cars). Stupidness is limitless (Albert Einstein). DCI and HDI for example are proved to be reliable....
