Yea really! lol I actually charged him $150 to cut these and had $1.79 in material so it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Thanks for watching
High Rick, just enjoyed this machining project, do you use Mach 3 as control if so could you provide the following: X-axis motor tuning and setup, also I can't seem to get the Spindle to operate on PC or Manual, My cnc is the CNCEST 6040 ( I am a newbie). Thanks
My spindle setup will be different from yours due to you having different motion and spindle controller. Almost any settings will get you motion, then you simply tune until it stalls. You should have gotten a manual with default settings for your setup. When I had the controller you have, I had to adjust some settings on the front panel to make the spindle work. Something in the setup code changing a 0 to a 1 to make it look to the PC for spindle control. I will look and see if I still have my old Mach3 setup file from when I had the old 1500 controller box.
