Guys i want to say this, Gary vee really is a blessing to us all. I recently attended a free marketing internet bootcamp day conference which promised to show us techniques and improve our digital marketing skills. The day consisted of 30% selling our their course, 30% testimonials and 30% mindset shit. I joined because the advert the company used for the event kept popping up on my feed on facebook. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY I WENT TO THAT EVENT!! Now heres gary vee, giving us this for free and it is so much valuable than the one i attended. Im now of the belief that i know a lot more than i give myself credit for and all i need to do is work hard, hustle and execute on my ideas with the advice that gary vee gives us. so from the bottom of my heart thanks gary vee and team gary vee!!! i appreciate you all and hope to meet you soon..

I love these moments: -Branding is what a good chunk of any audience will be drawn to...so create a good brand -Making more personalized content pieces for various demographics instead of one ad for all. -firing people that don’t align with culture -intent trumps everything -go deep into the top 4-5 sub cultures and make more content for them -you can’t run enough Facebook and Instagram ads -diversify...platforms, style, type, etc -high school party concept: create in person events using FB & LinkedIn (host a dinner at X) with a video ad that is to a tight demographic [fill out a form and you help them or give a state of union] -post production contextualize your content and videos (Asian girl video to correct demographic) know what you are making ads for and then make the content.
This is gold for the free consumer but I gotta say I'd be pretty disappointed if I was the business owners paying (likely over 10k) to have this meeting with Gary. For that kind of money I'd want in-depth analysis and breakdown of exactly where I could improve AND what kind of projections those improvements would bring, not general spit ball ideas. Gray gives things that sound good but who knows if it'll work and I doubt it's based on any real models or research. Like when he said make a bunch of hyper targeted ads to the solar guy idk about that, his cost would go through the roof and results might be less effective. Gary might like sports mixed in everything but many people like myself would rather ads be direct and too the point.

Be willing to work for free, or at a discounted rate for your service / product so you can show that there is success from your work, and you do that to build your case studies, testimonials, and most importantly your confidence so by the time you are at your 51st customer, or whatever other number - you arent doing work at a discounted price, but charging full or even premium.
4:00 that's the point, Facebook / Instagram has some very nice targeting tools. Difference today is you can make 16 videos and show to 16 different audiences. Showing everyone everything is the same as doing radio commercials on the Television back in the 20th century
agree man, its just testing. You can show those 16 types of content to 16 audiences (16*16) and then test which type of content matches best with another audience, see the data and scale...
ugh, no. You don't test everything at once. If you have 10 things you want to test on, you only choose a couple or so. And besides, if a test fails, it's not a 0% result compared to the 100% of the best performing one, it's around 60% - 80 % and hence you either edit that test or stop it altogether. If your main ad is getting you 100 leads a month and the test gets you 0 - 10 leads only then it's not a good test to begin with.
The fact that this is free content is a f’n game changer in our society. Most people who are watching don’t even understand this video is like mining for gold with doing the hard labor of mining. But rather the Golden nugget is just sitting on the ground. Sometimes people are so distracted that the golden nuggets are nearly camouflage and they walk right by them. Its an understatement to speak of how much value this video has, to provide these free along with the content deck, you just don't see 99% of the time. Of course this is to show how great for your business the 4D's meeting is and that's the up sell, but most people would only show a 2 min clip of the meeting, not 63 mins of it! (love how you put that in the title too). Most important takeaway for myself was 54:56, I have a side job of helping out a personal trainer build his brand and hosting an event is a brilliant idea. People often say Gary gives all general answers to question but 4Ds are not like that... Gary enters as deep as possible in the context... Now, if you have questions with 13 different conditions it's a super duper specific question that might be figured out by ourselves through research and experience.
