This is a gorgeous set of examples of what's possible. Given the price point and my menial job... it's got me thinking how I'd cobble each sound together from what filters, resonance, and lfos I have, but reverse engineering is a joy not a curse. Thank you!
You said it best right at the end....I can't believe that I listened to 15 minutes of ring mod sounds......and honestly, for the first time in my life wasn't instantly sonically offended by the ring modulation tones....! This pedal and this pedal alone might be the only saving grace to the possibility to good usable ring mod sounds.... Your selections of sounds in this video are incredible - I especially liked the generative ambient section.... =)
@@ponderersounds3172 I actually see no need to look any further....! I found the unicorn, and have snagged a unicorn of my own, and it will be here Monday.... =) Thank you for making such a good demo, it was the deciding factor.... I am so very much looking forward to hearing these sounds on my stereo amp set-up (guitar).... =)
...video comes up in my feed “Ring mod blah blah blah..”, rolls eyes..oh wait it’s by Ponderer Sounds..maybe it’s OK? Take away - one of the nicest tremolo/vibrato/modulation/vibe type pedals I’ve ever heard, sounds rich and full, very musical and lush! Retains that analog warmth without ever sounding digital or processed. This along with the Vongon Paragraphs would have to be the surprise hits for me so far this year, thank you for another amazing demo!
I ordered mine from the batch dropped today. I'm sure there can not be a better Valentine. A true gift from me to me lol. Your demo will be the perfect starter's guide for my adventure with the Feber.
amazing demo. one thing i've learned about Pladask is that they don't just create pedals, they effortlessly force you to create sounds never heard before.
I love how smoothly it transitions from one sound to the next, it’s fluid and actually if you care to pay a little attention it helps you understand how different effects are built. Excellent design. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
I’m totally surprised that I’m now looking it buy a ring mod! The really low frequencies make it so versatile. Seems like it can do most of what I use my CBA Gravitas trem for. :O Knut is such a genius!
Distortion + Palm Muting + Ring Mod is one of my favorite combos. Sounds like you’re hitting 2 empty metal cans together. I’m sure there are other sounds and combos im missing out on. Your demo showed some nice chill ones i need to try out. I use DCD ghost fax but this pedal might be a contender :) hope someone shares a dirty channel with feber though.
@@ponderersounds3172 That MF-102 is pure magic. I wish a brand like CBA or Meris would release their take on a ring mod. The Feber looks/sounds awesome, too. I'll have to look into that. :)
There’s a lot of similarities, the radius is a little deeper and has the bonus of MIDI/presets, but if that’s not important to you the Feber seems almost endless. Both excellent ✌🏼
Ah, that's great. Since you have Radius in front of you, allow me 2 questions: 1. feedback in Radius seems only on/off, is there a lot of FEED variation in Feber, that Radius misses out on (also FEED on ringmod). 2. Is the lack of an LP filter a huge miss? Thanks so much!!
