This mustang was brought to me after sitting for 10 years. I wanted to get it running, but noticed the battery tray was not able to hold a modern battery. I found this Scott Drake tray for 65 mustangs that use 67 hold down straps and went to work to install. The front bumper bracket has to be loosened to remove one of the bolts. The tray also didn't fit exactly, need a little massaging to sit right and one of the original bolt holes did not line up. But after replacing the tray and both cables, I installed a new battery to see how every work. I will save the old tray if the owner wants to return to original.
