We’ve taken our MY from Ft Myers FL to Charlotte. The car was fantastic. Only issue with charging was at Savannah. The supercharger was in the airport parking garage that required a fee to park. My primary takeaway was how crowded and bumpy the roads were. The country is way behind providing enough quality roads for our growing population.
Beautiful video, Evan! It was so nice for a change, because most channels are either sharing the same news stories or they are reviewing the same products that they've received to check out. Key West looked really awesome. I've only been there as a stop on a cruise ship and with a few ships in port, the crowds were crazy.
I have, from Las Vegas to LA. There was so many supercharges in California, I had no worries about ever running out of battery. A great experience it was.

I'm glad to see at the end of this video that you had a great time in Key West! I'm a Tesla driver (and fellow RU-vidr) who lives in Big Pine Key, which is about 30 miles from Key West. There are new 8 V3 250kW Tesla superchargers on Big Pine Key that were not yet built in 2021 when you posted this video. I found your channel today when I did a search for "Tesla Service Model Battery Health Test" and found one of your other videos. Great Video. I’ve been to Key West, many times. Flying there is the easy way, but if you’ve never done it, you have to drive it at least once. It’s a beautiful ride. 👍🏼
Had fun in Savannah a couple months ago, but the Supercharger location is atrocious. Stayed at an AirBnB that didn't have any charging options, so had to go to the airport SC a couple of times. Thanks again for the restaurant recommendations!
Does traffics jams make y’all nervous? Also wondering if other Tesla drivers especially in hotel show etiquette and pull out of charging spaces to free up for others?
We never had any issues with anyone using the Chargers at the hotel. Also regarding traffic the tesla uses less energy when idling than a gas car. I would RU-vid info on this… it’s quite impressive.
On your last leg you stated the car predicted you'd arrive at 9% battery life. I believe the percentage displayed on each designation is how much battery percentage will be consumed between your current location and your destination.
Right, this was the prediction from my last supercharger stop to my final destination, not the entire trip. Yet it was off by a good 15+%, either way tesla is always gonna be conservative when charging on road trips. Thanks for commenting!
