I went on the 2001 power tour in a pro street square body that had flames on it ended up blowing a motor in Chicago and another person on power tour let me use their shop so got a junkyard 350 swapped out the engine over night and ended up finishing the Power Tour.

ive been reading all of them.i remember Project X before Hollywood Jbights came out i bought them allPHR,CAR CRAFT GOT ROD.I qas about 15 years old and my big brother told me"you buy so many of those magazines tou wont be able to afford a hot rod of youre own". enough about my brother,I wanna change the subject!

my dad was a machinist for TRW in the 70's and i got a blown up 350 4bolt when I was about 13. d as d got me a TRW engine module 3 rering kit for Christmas and I was so stoked I took my paper route money and bought Accel yellow cut to fit plug wires and a super coil and a chesp xhrome chinese oil pan before I finished tearing down my small block.eventually had cam bearings i stalled.p sprayed about 8 cans of Chevy orange on it snd I wouldnt even let people walj bear it !

Car Craft magazine's 'Anti Tour' was always more entertaining and real world. God, I miss that magazine, especially with Matt King at the helm. I used to have to get a bookstore to special order it for me, being in New Zealand, but it was worth it.

We used to have a Super Shops down the the street. I got my first set of pro trac tires for my camaro. I was plugging them constantly. Back then they were only about $60 a tire.

On my 68 rsss i had pro trac n 50 15 and they stood in the body front 5 inch super trics with pro tracs but had moroso drag special on center lines wen drag raced,for a street car with a 302 we ran 10.50 at 126 in the quarter with pro tracs n50s no sliks dat good
