Very sad.... wellness check suggest maybe older with mental heath or maybe hording issues. Hope dogs get the love care they need and person gets the help they need.
Hopefully some of these rescues can be sent to other provinces for adoption. I’m in Alberta where we rarely have small dog’s available for adoption. I’m certain some of these would be snapped up here…I’d be interested!
The Edmonton Humane Society runs a program Called PAL ( Prevent Another Litter); for $50 or so you can get your critters spayed or neutered. Sad that this person let the critters go like that but I would suspect there are many underlying issues with the "caregiver". Sad the critters have to suffer. I don't know if the Winnepeg Humane Society runs such a thing but it does help.
doesn't look like a typical hoarder situation.. looks like they were breeding them to sell... the dogs are identical. probably the high cost to fix pets... dogs are especially expensive. no matter where you are look for low cost fixing. many cities offer vouchers, petsmart sometimes offers vouchers esp in the spring. if you have community cats try to tnr them... every pet fixed helps them, the community, rescuers and humane societies. house cats, and barn cats too. fixing lowers their cancer risk, and other complications as well.
I hope the PERSON IS PROCESSED in their trip to JAIL and charged for stuff like this. How horrifying poor little things. I want to hear of reprimanded of the owner
This highlights the exact reason the government was correct to stop the importation of rescue dogs to Canada. We have more than enough dogs in need of rescue.
Clearly the dogs were all kept in the home so how would neighbors know what's going on inside someone's home? Puppy mill owners are very careful they're not found out.
@@moondancer334 please give me a brake, 70 dogs in a house will have to be making a huge noise and the people there must have some outside action with people who know them..
Let me guess, they will blame it on a mental health problem, sorry, no sympathy! Make that person sell what ever they own to pay for these poor animals.
